  1. Snoop's net worth is almost 150 mill. Panthers are valued at about 1.5 Bill. Makes sense. Can he finance?
  2. It sucked watching them squeak the win out but in a weird way, I thought I might work in our favor. Probably not but just thinking, if they lost yesterday, no way they are losing 3 straight. Am I saying that means we win this week? No, and we probably get smoked, but whatever the crazy odds may be, the are somehow more likely (in my view) with them coming off a win. Either way, I just hope we make it a game.
  3. That would be incredible! Wonder even when the tech is ready if the league will fight it because it will deter people from coming to games. Not that anything can replace the electricity of being there, but something like this might make it harder to leave the house!
  4. He did start reading this but then immediately deleted when he read "Sean McCoy". He's an upstanding guy, he figured he was reading someone else's mail when he realized he never heard of such a person.
  5. This is one of the weeks I miss the promise the Cold Front gave us. A nasty 4 man rush that can allow Gronk to be double teamed and not let anyone else get wide open. Not that the Cold Front ever got there but it's the best way to stop Brady. Any idea of blitzing is silly. He is so quick to punish you by finding the wide open guy.
  6. I can't wait till the day they realize we want to hear the on field banter all day. Show replays on a cable channel with a TV-MA and let's go!
  7. Well, when I said this it was still up for grabs in the South. Yes....3 weeks later you are correct
  8. Me too. On the bright side, maybe SF becomes a real trade partner for QB pick
  9. Thank God the Pats traded Jimmy G out of the division. He's going to be a star.
  10. Good for him. Whether he's sincere or not, it truly doesn't matter to us....well...to us who didn't spend $100 on his jersey. To the rest, you could always get it replated with Webb III, haha
  11. Let the man get his QB and then we can really evaluate. The seemingly "unforgivable" offenses won't matter if we have a QB we can ride. Franchise QBs have a way of making average coaches seem great.
  12. Man. The guy was so close to being a franchise type QB. He could SEE the right thing was hitting that WR in stride, but his little arm just couldn't get it there.
  13. To me, the Shout Song is basically equivalent to a college fight song. It's just part of us. Hope it stays forever. And I would love the train whistle if we could actually stop someone good on 3rd down.
  14. Retractable dome that you can crack open a little to let some snow in but shut when you can't even see the field. Compromise?
  15. Not saying we need to feel like it's a sure loss by any means, but thinking this game is ours for sure is pretty funny. We are going to need another dose of lucky bounces to edge this one out.
  16. A team that is a QB away from at least being a sure WC team doesn't see him as the guy. Who else will? He's on his way back to backing up a legit starter. His ceiling has been exposed for everyone to see.
  17. Trade for the better draft pick to get one. Yes, it would be wonderful to have all our picks to fill holes immediately. However, the Rams and Eagles both show that if you have a little patience, you can get your guy by seemingly trading too much, and still build your pieces and contend very quickly. 2 examples slapping us in the face head to head this past week. It's a no brainer. Couple that with Beane's quote about the first thing a GM needs to do is get his QB to build upon, and it's not a mystery.
  18. Alright. So our playoff hopes depend on getting help from the Ravens and/or Titans AND hoping we win 2 out of the next 3. Anyone want to entertain us possibly beating NE in their house? Instead, we hope we can beat a team 2X that just beat the Pats on the national stage. No problem. Hey...at least the Cheatriots lost and we can celebrate that moment all offseason though.
  19. We might win this week, almost certainly loss the next, and lose a heartbreaker week 17. 8-8 and shortly after the pain of getting so close again subsides, we'll be flooded with talk about "wow, we did so much better than expected with a depleted roster". Just wondering what else we'll have to throw in our trade up package to get a top 2 QB in the draft OR if we take our chances on Cousins.
  20. And it's not just about this week. Sure - maybe the cold and the short week help us. What about week 17? That same team capable of beating the Pats at home - in position to spoil our hopes - with no "advantages" for us.
  21. Nah, 1-2 is very likely. We might win this week. Very sure we lose the next. And then, if we get the help we need from the other In the Hunters, "win and we're in" down in Miami. We all know how that plays out. Right?
  22. I wish we could lean on the cold weather advantage and the shorter week factor. However, we almost lost the ultimate snowbowl to a dome team with a shell of a roster and we aren't talking about a team going from Sun to Thurs short week. Mon to Sun has been the way of life for all the teams that get to play MNF...something we don't know much about these days. I hope those factors are as real as some say because that team isn't coming here to lay down. They force Tyrod to play QB and not only do they all but knock us out, they set themselves up to try and get in themselves. I was one of the few hoping they lost last night.
  23. My point about Peterman not doing enough to win the job back is you can't really evaluate QB play in that wacky game. I believe if it wasn't a snow globe game, he would have won it back easily.
  24. I think we're confusing "what would you do" vs "what will McD do". Most of us would start Peterman, give him the ol' Kelso helmet and go get 'em. But ultra super radical conservative McD will stick to his word. Healthy Tyrod gets the start.
