Wildcard Weekend: Bills at Jax - 2nd Half Thread
ProcessTheTrust replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think TT was playing through a minor concussion all day since that hit to the head early on. That last hit was the KO blow. Hope he gets well so he can be at full strength to be someone else's back up next year. -
Wild Card Weekend: Bills at Jax - 1st Half Thread
ProcessTheTrust replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not entertaining to the casual fan but a great half for us. Assuming both QBs start hitting the easy passes they have been missing and we are in for a great 2nd half. -

I'm responding to the OP. Didn't even read the following comments. -

Why? Why even try convince yourself this is even close to being a reasonable scenario? Why reach like this? Deep down you must know how ridiculous this is. Right? -
ESPN predicts Alex Smith as starting Bills QB in 2018.
ProcessTheTrust replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would have been all for Smith if the drought was still there. He's good enough in the regular season to get you there. But just doesn't have that killer instinct to get anywhere in the playoffs. I don't see us making a move for him. -
Glad they made this a game!

How many Bills fans will be at the game Sunday?
ProcessTheTrust replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
10%-20%, probably closer to 20%. No doubt our fans are coming from all over, but the power of the local bandwagon is stronger than we think. I'm sure their local fairweathers scooped up tix quicker than we're thinking. -
I don't blame him for the EJ pick. I know that was still while Nix was in charge. However, to not take a swing on a list of guys the next few years, not being able to see EJ isn't close to franchise quality...that's where he struck out. I'm giving him credit for almost every other position. I don't hate Whaley like most.

How much board could a board troll troll if a board troll could troll board?

If they left their real team, then yeah, I'm with you, no room for bandwagoners. I'm talking about a "part time" love affair with us while they have no one else to root for to keep it interesting. Am I the only one who learned to do this every year to keep the playoffs interesting these past 17 years???

Gurley with Wentz not far behind.

If Shady is Out, is it a Good Thing?
ProcessTheTrust replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get the idea that maybe, just maybe, the lack of focusing on Shady could throw them off. But unless Tyrod has a rare playing like a real QB day, no...not a good thing to miss 1/3 of our O. -
I think we are going to have a lot of temporary "fans" this week...and even more if we can get to NE. I remember really rooting for the Cards on their SB run. For every fan that either has no team in the race this year or is an NFC team fan looking for a rooting interest in the AFC, welcome aboard!!!

Oh Yeah, Jacksonville? This. Means. WAR!!
ProcessTheTrust replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If that hurt your feelings, like really affecting your inner-person, it's time to seek some professional help. It's called a JOKE. -
I wanted this thread to die but I changed my mind. Now I'm about that #10KChase

We should Sign Fred Jackson
ProcessTheTrust replied to clearwater cadet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way things worked out for us was pretty storybook, but come on. Fred has been done for quite a while. Take away all nostalgia and bias and there's no way we're even thinking about him. -
When Cinci scored. What happened?
ProcessTheTrust replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My wife had put our 2 year old to bed and began feeding our baby. Right as the coverage switched to Baltimore, the 2 year old comes running our room. Rather than taking him back and fighting with him to get back to bed, I just picked him up and said "alright buddy, you might get to witness the first Bills playoff berth in forever. I'll put you to bed later". Next thing you know, Boyd is running into the endzone and my tired/confused toddler is jumping up and down with me without knowing why! -
I hear ya, I'm a numbers guy and I can see your point. But the numbers can't capture the situations when Shady comes through. Whether it's a 3rd and long where he turns a 3 yard play into a 20 yard gain, or he catches a tired D off guard and makes a 10 yard run into a long TD...in what could be a FG contest decided by a fluke long run...we are gonna miss us some Shady this week.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - All So Improbable
ProcessTheTrust replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have every right to rejoice in our long awaited return to the post-season. At the same time, we can't ignore the new regime is locked into making us a SB contender, not a team that had so many fortunate things allowing us to snag a WC in a weak AFC this year. I don't think they make decisions this off-season any differently than as if Baltimore would have held on 2 days ago. I can't see them agreeing on keeping TT and Rico. That combo is atrocious.
