  1. I realize it’s last years voters. I’m guessing that it doesn’t change much year to year. please post a list of this years voters if you have it.
  2. I didn’t hear it, but I know there is an alternate organization that votes for mvp as well. But the AP vote is the one that is recognized by the nfl.
  3. She’s not on the list I saw. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/heres-the-full-list-of-the-50-ap-awards-voters Note that the blowhard crew. Cowherd, Stephen Smith, Mcafee, barstool, etc aren’t on this list.
  4. Most of the talking head blowhards on espn aren’t voters, so their opinions are irrelevant. Someone linked a list of about 50 voters a while back. It includes the older, established professional writers, like Vic Carucci, Peter King, etc. Theyre not giving a 3rd mvp to a player who hasn’t made a Super Bowl. They understand the meaning of value.
  5. This is why yds per snap is a better measure than yds per game. Allen has >100 fewer snaps than Burrow and 60 fewer than Jackson heading into this wknd
  6. I think that’s true. But this game annd other Bills blowouts where Josh didn’t play ibeyond the 3rd q is why snaps taken, not games played is a better way to normalize statistics. EPA is based per play. Josh leads Jackson by that metric.
  7. Good to see Codrington out there. I took the over @ 46.5.
  8. Is this the worst officiating crew in the nfl?
  9. Ok, that one was pi. Even a broken clock is right once a day
  10. I take that back. they’re not random. They’re always against the Bills.
  11. Another bs call. Pat receiver hit 43. 43 injured
  12. These pi calls are completely random
  13. Can Beane ask his buddy at the Giants to claim him, and then trade him to the Bills for a conditional 7th?
  14. I took josh at +850 for mvp at beginning of the year, so I hope it’s clear where my bias falls. But, to be fair, Detroit’s D has been decimated by injury. That wasn’t the best D in the league that trotted out there on Sunday.
  15. It’s basically impossible to answer this question, because we have little in the way of quantitative comparisons between football decades. But time is the same in 2024/as in 1990s. It is absolutely and quantitatively true that athletes of 2024 are better than those of the 1990s. The gold medal winner in the 100m ran 9.96 in 1992. The 8th place finisher ran 9.91 in 2024. So yeah, I think that Kelly would be an average at best nfl QB today. And Babe Ruth wouldn’t even crack a major league roster today.
  16. ?? Thats a funny way to spell Josh Allen.
  17. That play was either a drop by Shakir or DPI. Those are your two choices. given that Shakir has one drop all season, I'm going with DPI. Just curious, anyone with access to PFF advanced stats, how is that target ruled? A PBU? A drop? Or a SBPIBRFIU (Shouldve Been PI But Ref....)?
  18. That was a terrible penalty call.
