  1. QB was in tackle box. Should have been grounding and safety.
  2. Wish that announcer would shut up about the bad holding call. It occured right after a gift 3rd down conversion.
  3. Looked like McKenzie was surprised he caught the ball.
  4. 100% chance if that guy makes the exact same catch in the end zone, runs out of bounds and drops it, it would be called a TD. That was possession.
  5. Yeah but he dropped back 7 yds to throw it. So 31 yds in the air. Tired of hearing that stat.
  6. Ive got to say it stunning how many people don't understand this play. Did the ball clearly go forward? yes or no? from the replays I saw, there was no evidence that the ballwent forward. If if it didn't clearly go forward, then it's a backward pass and a TD for buffalo. The replay officials reversed the call. Where is the clear irrefutable evidence that the ballwent forward? A pretty simple question; I've not seen the answer in these 4 pages. Please realize that the answer has to be a picture or video or statement from an expert who has reviewed same. All the rest, especially comments from the Pats fan,is simply a waste of electrons.
  7. For the last time guys, just because your ARM is going forward doesnt mean that the BALL will go forward. Watch the Harlem Globetrotters some time. Or pretend that you threw a ball just barely forward, into a 60 mph wind, and it fell behind you. Its where the ball goes, not your arm. In this case, it looked like Bakers arm was going sideways, not perpendicular with respect to the LOS.
  8. When Allen runs that play the ball clearly goes forward. I'm not sure it did on this play.
  9. This has nothing to d with Bills goggles. His arm wasn't hit. It's simple. If the ball moved forward, it was a forward pas. If it didn't go forward, it wasn't.
  10. I don't know shooter. In the clip you linked, you can't see the ball the instant it leaves his hand. But it looks like the release point is just over the yard line, and the ball hits the ground just at the yard line. If it's a millimeter behind, then it's a backward pass, by definition. How could the officials a be so certain that the ball went forward. Certainly not based on that clip.
  11. I get it wasn't a fumble. Was it a forward pass? from the views shown, it looked like the ball went straight down, not forward, from the instant it left his hand. in which case it was a backward pass, recoverable by the defense.
  12. Im confused Why doesnt Kelechi simply call in the dragons and set the Jets team offices on fire?
  13. I'll never forget a game in the mid 1980s. Steelers punter had a punt get caught in the wind and it went for -9 yds.
  14. If my math is correct, if all of our OL gave up a sack per game, 17 would be sacked 80 times this year. Not it sure that's OK
  15. 2 years ago I said Bills should have taken Chris Godwin instead of trading up for Zay. it was right then and it’s right now.
  16. Depends on Nsehke's ankle. If he can't go, they need a backup tackle. Ryan Bates is the only other OL who has played tackle.
  17. If Nsehke can't go, who is the active backup tackle? ryan Bates? He played tackle at PSU but really is better at guard.
  18. The semipro discussion got me to thinking about how loose with the rules some teams are. My cousin (from Boston) tells a story about the time his team got hammered in an age 14 and under league. They were feeling pretty down. Then they saw guys from the other team get in cars and drive away.
  19. Played in high school. Not much call for 5'7" 150 lb DB who run 4.9 40s. But playing organized football, even back in the last century, gave me a real appreciation for the game. Years after high school, I was in a theater production, and remarked to the choreographer that the dance numbers were really a lot like football. She looked at me like I was from Mars, but its true. Offensive football, especially OL on running plays, is tightly choreographed. If the Qb is a millisecond late on his reverse pivot and handoff, the pulling guard and RB collide. Defense was a bit more fun. You mostly try to destroy the choreography.
