  1. It's definitely the worst performance I've ever seen. There are a ton of QBs of his caliber that are available as free agents.
  2. Tyrod is the better QB. If we still want to compete we start Tyrod. If we're tanking start Peterman. Think it's obvious that he's not ready. We're drafting a QB next year. Let's just start Tyrod until we are no longer in contention.
  3. We all wanted him to do well. But those of us who are rational knew this was a poorly timed decision. Should have started him at the beginning of the year if that’s what we wanted to do. Not when we have a shot at the playoffs
  4. Hahahahaha at he folks who were calling for Peterman
  5. I’d trade one of our 1st for him
  6. Looks like it’ll take 9 wins in the AFC and the Bills are in a good position. Only her Ravens really concern me. Assuming the Bills win Sunday, sweep the Dolphins and beat the Colts.
  7. I think Trent Edwards had a chance to be decent before the concussions. Getting beat up or thrown into the fire against with a ba team can hurt him Looks like it’ll take 9 wins in the AFC and the Bills are in a good position. Only her Ravens really concern me. Assuming the Bills won Sunday, sweep the Dolphins and beat the Colts.
  8. Wouldn’t Peterman getting us to the playoffs hurt us even more since he’s younger? At least we could draft a QB next year in the 1st round. How can we justify drafting a QB if Peterman ends our draft?
  9. Gruden is generally favorable towards most players. It’s like he doesn’t want to be too critical of anyone in case comes back.
  10. Tyrod looked good against the Jets scrubs too.
  11. Houston has way more talent. Watson is good but Fuller and Hopkins are both much better than anything we have here. ThevJets defense and runnin game are better than the Bills. And McCown has lost games in the 4th by turning the ball over. I’d bet they’d have a better record with a who protected the ball. So yeah, those are better situations. Wake me up when the Jets D gives up 300 yards rushing and 47 points.
  12. And when Peterman is average to above average like Trent Edwards. Or flashes like Fitzpatrick we’ll be wanting to see more from him. Look at how Wentz did last year or Goff. They’ve developed. But after 8 games we didn’t know what they were. Gonna take time to develop a young QB. Would rather give Peterman and a rookie time to battle it out in camp and ride it out with the winner for a season. See what we really have. We should have just started Peterman if we thought that highly of him like the Seahawks did Russell Wilson
  13. Each of those situations are significantly better than the situation in Buffalo. Not really a fair comparison. Better defenses. Better receivers. And oustide of the Vikings he’s got as good as or a better record than all of them.
  14. Statistically he’s above average to good. Win loss wise he’s average. He’s better than 16 starters. But if you only watch the Bills and prime time you compare him to Rodgers, Brees and Brady.
  15. I mean exactly what I said. It’s possible but who in here is in a position to say for sure. Only the uninformed speak in definites when it comes to these types of things
  16. Head coach was. And said he’d evaluate every position. Including qurterback
  17. I agree but you win with what you have. Not switch in the middle of a playoff run. We still could get a QB in the first round if we make the playoffs. We don’t have enough time this year to evaluate Peterman.
  18. Exactly. Win now and win tomorrow. The Browns have tanked every year and still suck the Bills have bee been a losing team for years. The Jets have been a losing team for years. You can get value throughout the drag without tanking. That mentality never works.
  19. Right, even if Peterman is talented we might ruin him with being around a bad team.
  20. Nate Petermans going to sure up the d line and line backers. He’s going to stop us from getting gashed for 300 yards. Maybe the team is better than we thought and Tyrod is holding us back. Or maybe we’re putting a rookie in a rough situation with a bad o line and defense. We’ll find out Sunday. I’m rootinh for him to succeed.
  21. Black QBs historically have a shorter leash. Or at least it seems that way. Did race play a part? Maybe. But probably not as significant a part as some would try to make it seem
  22. Good info. I’m still against the benching. We could have traded him at the deadline or next year. We could have gave him a year but let him walk. This just reeks of a front office that drafted a guy and want to play him. I don’t want another staff loyal to a guy and refusing to make a change. If we don’t draft a QB next year it’ll be because of a commitment to Peterman. And if Peterman struggles the coaching staff will lose the team. Maybe Tyrod was missing open guys. But gambling a competitive season on a rookie is unforgivable if he fails. Tyrod is an average to above average QB. He’s David Garrard. He’s a reflection of how good the team is. In a weak AFC we can make the playoffs with him. Now I’m not sure.
  23. We just got rid of our best d lineman, cornerback(s) and wide receiver. Seems to be how things are run here.
  24. I disagree. We’ve passed on QBs before because of the likes of Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Trent Edwards. If Peterman plays decent and we make the playoffs we won’t draft a QB. And it could set this franchise back once again.
  25. The point was Tyrod is JP Losman or EJ. He’s got enough skill to win in the right situation. We don’t know what Peterman is. We are position to draft a QB in the first round next year. Why not let Tyrod ride it out and trade or cut him next year. Being a 1st QB in and hand him the reigns?
