  1. The backup or third string QB are the least of this O's problem. There are 3 NFL caliber starters of the 11.
  2. Cohen was one on one with Taron Johnson outside. I assume he saw that and called a timeout.
  3. Same here, but I have a slightly quicker trigger. A pick on the first drive, see ya.
  4. I'll like to make one of these someday to represent the Rensselaer County delegation. Probably will not make this one.
  5. I think you can tell he has a ton of experience as a QB. He understood the clock and down and distance. He fired up the team and they responded. We won the second half. If the D didn't start so slow or we get one of those fumble calls, we could haven stolen a win. Allen is the Anti-Tyrod. His eyes are downfield, sometimes for too long. He gets away with this because he is so big and can take hits. His touch can be poor and maybe that never changes. He also can run and has a rocket. After 60 minutes of NFL game tape, I am excited for the future.
  6. Teller did not allow a sack last year against big time college competition. He will likely get some starts this year. He has shown flashes and he's gonna be here for a few years. Let's not write him off after one preseason. He doesn't have to be an All-Pro this year, just better than the journeymen they have assembled in the middle of the line.
  7. I have a Jairus Byrd jersey that I bought at the game against Seattle in Toronto. I realize all that is wrong in that statement. I thought Byrd was going to play centerfield for the Bills for a decade. I cant stomach to wear it after the way he left. He makes me second guess every jersey purchase I make. I will send this jersey to anyone who wants it free of charge. I also have a Stevie Johnson jersey. I wear that most Sundays. He will always be one of my favorite Bills. He had a great few years in Bills Uniform and wanted to break the drought. I am currently considering a Tre Dey jersey but i dont trust my track record Jersey's in my house (wife is an Eagles fan) Bills Stevie Johnson Jairus Byrd CJ Spiller Lee Evans Eagles Brian Westbrook LeSean McCoy Carson Wentz
  8. We lost/traded more high end talent last year, compared to this year. We didn't splash in free agency, but we did clean the Salary Cap slate for next year. Good teams hit on their draft picks and extend them after their rookie contracts. Our talent pool is thin due to poor drafts for a decade. I expect to sign a few camp cuts from other teams, compete for 6 to 9 wins, and continue to build for the post-Brady AFC East.
  9. I know we don’t have Julio Jones. Our WR corps has a combined 1 good season. Stop looking for a feel good story.
  10. An optimistic approach: It is unlikely, but possible they trade him. He would have to commit to a long holdout and force Atlanta's hand. He has multiple years left on his deal and he just watched guys like Sammy Watkins get $16 mil/yr. Julio averages around $14mil/yr. (I don't know exactly how it's paid out.) This is not exactly a Jason Peters situation, but they share the concept of ownership not extending the contract with multiple years left in the deal. The Falcons also drafted Calvin Ridley in the first round this year. We have the cap space, who knows what the asking price would be.
  11. Any Syracuse fans have a thought on Steve Ishmael in the later rounds? I thought he was a man amongst boys in many games I watched. He seemed to get a bunch of Offensive Pass Interference called on him, but only because he was so much more physical than the DB's he faced. He didn't get a combine invite, which doesn't see right after a monster senior year. He showed up against big time talent. 11 catches against LSU, 12 against Florida State, 6 for 70 yds and a score in the Clemson upset. A Syracuse diehard might have a better take on him. http://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/3123992/steve-ishmael
  12. I'd like a spot, if possible. Coming from Albany area, also with a Raiders fan unfortunately.
