  1. A 6th will do. Webb on the PS and find another backup next year. In the “Super Bowl window” we need a high end back up.
  2. Perfect technique, head up, did not not use crown of helmet as a weapon but unfortunately they are the same height and Field turned into it. He was completely unblocked, so difficult to adjust at full speed. I’m all for protecting QBs, they game is tough to watch with most back-ups, but there was no malicious intent with that hit. Definitely a penalty in today’s NFL but I also dislike QBs dancing around with no repercussions.
  3. I had Allen and Murray last year. This year I have a disgruntled Aaron Rodgers.
  4. 5 hours. Had season tickets pre-kids. Lots of road trips for Checkdown Trent, JP, and Fitz, but I was at the win over NE. Tough drive back after those Browns games.
  5. If a vet corner is cut to save salary off a bad team, absolutely yes. He’ll take a month to learn the D then compete with Levi. We’ve dodged the injury bug for a couple years now. Depth built in September wins in the playoffs
  6. Jairus Byrd. Turned out to be a short term investment. Bought at the Toronto game where they got destroyed by Seattle.
  7. The Vikings fans I know, compared Diggs to Percy Harvin before last year calling him a diva. Turns out he was right to be frustrated at the lack of targets. #1 WR’s are naturally going to want the ball every play because they know they are consistently beating their man. You’d think Cousins would have locked in on him. Probably shows how much better Josh Allen is, and they’re just getting started
  8. Proof of a successful program. There’s no such thing as a Rex Ryan coaching tree. McBeane puts good people in positions to succeed.
  9. Tyrod was signed as a FA, then traded for the first pick in the 2018 3rd round. The was Cleveland’s original pick. How was that involved in previous transactions?
  10. Agree on Gilmore. His last year here, he refused to tackle anyone. He quit on the team to make sure he got the next contract.
  11. Agreed. He’s a process guy to a T. Big time players make big time plays in big time games. He still does that. He can be productive for 2-3 years and be a difference maker on the d-line, something we’ve been lacking.
  12. Aflac for injuries sustained by jumping through tables? Seriously, feed me some rumors at least.
  13. If Pepsi books stadium rights, that could be a big one
  14. Agreed. I’m in Eastern NY (Troy area), is he all over local commercials?
  15. It is bizarre he doesn’t have one. Even Tua has one. Cam has one. I don’t need one to vindicate him or whatever but jeez, why no love?
  16. Well, some rules are stupid but I understand your logic. I think you are really proving the importance of McDermott’s process and culture. We’ve had talent on the team but rarely a talented team. His ability to implement his system and get then organization to buy in is amazing.
  17. Stevie Johnson should not be in this conversation. Losers don’t have 3 1000 yard seasons. His head coaches and defensive talent were the losers in his years. He was a 7th round pick and had a nice career.
  18. Yes it was late, they were checked out. What a bomb tho.
  19. They run a boring offense but watching a rattled Tua for 3 hours is entertainment enough.
  20. He had a 69 yard bomb and the commentators didn’t say a word about it. The returner back pedaled 20 yards and Kevin Harlan reported in in a monotone voice like it’s normal.
  21. Threw it inside. That’s a pick. Great play, but the throw was 6 feet too far inside. probably should have been thrown into the stands.
  22. He got a nice check, but if he stayed and was successful, he would have got an extension. The real money is made by being a coach for a decade plus. His next job will not be an NFL head coach and he will forever have the “re-tread” label moving forward.
  23. F him. I hope Terry and Kim send him a Christmas card
  24. Bills 19 Miami 24 16/22 Bills Starters don’t dress. Matt Barkley 7/18 129 yards 0 TD 2 INT, Davis Webb 2-6 17 yards.
