  1. He sucked in his first game in Pitt. Turned out to have a heck of a career. Several rookie QBs have done nothing in their first start.
  2. He plays on special teams too. That's the main reason he's there
  3. You don't pull a rookie because he has one bad start. Unfortunately, the fans and media bashed him to much so I think he felt he had to. We know Tyrod isn't the answer...keep starting the guy that's only played one game. No second chance for the rookie? Tyrod gets how many chances in his career and doesn't prove it...
  4. Does anyone still question the decision to start Peterman a few weeks ago? I am just wondering. I don't see how anyone can watch another game of Tyrod being the Bills QB anymore. Just wondering what people see that makes them want to keep him as the starter? Sure he can run but this is exactly what happens with a mobile QB that relies on his legs...he gets hurt. Peterman hasn't looked good but he has had a few nice throws that Tyrod hasn't been able to make in his career and has only seen the field a few minutes this year. I guess my question is do people still hate the coaching staff for daring to get better play at QB?
  5. I give Tre props, he got a pick against Brady
  6. This is really where the missed touchdown hurts us. They are gonna score and put us down two scores which for this offense is crushing. They have never been able to respond after the other team scores and it puts us down two scores.
  7. It's funny how people are now happy with the playcalling and our 3rd string QB has been in on multiple plays haha. Just sounds odd. I guess you have to when your starter sucks
  8. Actually some of us aren't able to watch the game...so why don't you just calm yourself dude
  9. It's sad when our 3rd string gets some action on the field...you know your QB sucks when that happens
  10. Say what you want about the run defense...the defense has done its job to this point with zero help from the offense
  11. That first drive on offense is gonna give me nightmares if we lose by single digits
  12. Looks like the challenge at least gave the defense a breather
  13. He plays on the special teams unit haha
  14. Tyrod threw it right at him...
  15. So inconsistent at QB it hurts
  16. Hold them to FGs...that's a win.
  17. Looked like a lot of nice playcalls on that drive...and then there's Tyrod
  18. This is a chance for McD to shut the doubters up in my opinion. I just want them to play competitively against them and not give up 41 points like last year.
  19. Actually Sammy's option was declined before Beane was in the building. Doesn't mean McDermott didn't play a hand in that. However, to say there was plenty of time for them to get a new QB and make Watkins the focal point of the offense isn't quite right. We weren't drafting a QB this past draft because we didn't even have our new GM yet. You don't want him to take on a rookie QB that he didn't select. So, then there's this upcoming year. You'd be giving the rookie and Sammy 1 season to find the chemistry and become highly productive enough for where he'd want to stay. As Sammy noted himself on a few occasions, he was a very statistical egotistical player here. To say he would've wanted to stay here after 1 year with a rookie QB is a stretch at the very least.
  20. Perfect example of the frustration I have with Tyord on the one play with him and richie blocking in front. Dennison doesn't get credit for a nice play call... Nice read by the way
  21. While you may have wanted sammy...would he have wanted to resign here? He was complaining about targets and seemed frustrated with the team. Why would he want to stay? That's a big reason why he was moved, so we actually get something out of it. I don't blame them for wanting to get something for the future instead of one year with Sammy
  22. https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/12/01/buffalo-bills-sean-mcdermott-team-building-through-storytelling This is my first time posting a link...hopefully it works. This is what I like hearing about in a locker room. For those that don't care to read the lengthy article, it says that McDermott had some of the players share their backstories and what is important to them at a team meeting. It's a refreshing approach in my opinion to attempt to keep building chemistry and a new culture.
