  1. Agreed. I just like Goebert a lot haha. He reminds me of the Kelce's and the Gronk's of the tight end world. He can truly catch the ball and be an important weapon for a rookie QB. Both would be a nice thing to have for a rookie QB.
  2. Yeah I could see him going in the middle of the second. He could be a target. If they grab a QB, I expect them to snag some sort of weapon in the second round for him. Campell could be the guy or Dallas Goedert in my opinion. Campell does give the added bonus of special teams but Goedert looks like the next Gronk in terms of production...both should be in our sights
  3. Here's the thing...we don't have the draft picks to do it then. This year we have the draft picks to move up and there are some good QBs at the top. We don't have the luxury next year with the draft picks. Do it now...
  4. I think he will be a great player eventually. I'm just wondering if McD would take a guy who is technically only a sophomore. That being said, he is exactly what this offense needs. It needs a guy with flat out speed. One that can stretch the field and one you want to give the ball in space to. He is that no question I'd certainly take him. But how high? As for Dallas, if he slips into the second round...that would be tough to pass up. Or even if we end up with a late first. Especially if we draft a QB 1st.
  5. If we decide to take a tight end...I'm all aboard the Dallas Goedert train. He reminds me of some of the best tight ends in the game with his catching ability. Outta San Diego State but he is a modern day receiving tight end. He could be a really nice security blanket for a young QB. Clay may be here...he may not. Even if he is, Dallas Goedert could be a nice tight end to pair with a rookie. I think he has the potential to be like a Gronk type receiving threat if used properly.
  6. Thing I am not so sure about is he hasn't seem a lot of action on the field. Only two years of play and really not very productive for the first one. I like him though.
  7. I like Timon Parris. Mobile enough and pushes with heavy hand. I like his aggression in his blocks, gives defenders a little extra now and then and I like it. He has nice footwork too. He gets low enough for his center of gravity not to get overpowered. I think he is a tackle in the NFL. Even with his speed and ability to get to the next level, I think tackle is his likely spot. However, I think they take Isaiah Wynn from Georgia. He is really versatile but a little shorter. Could play guard or center. He is a second round option for Buffalo.
  8. He makes me hesitant but his constant improvement has mad me feel better about him. He improved his passing this year. However, I think he'd struggle in the NFL for a little to start his career.
  9. Hence the draft picks to trade up...they are giving themselves that opportunity this year
  10. Maybe they just needed to move a young talented player to get the draft picks that they want to trade up for a QB? That's how I saw the move. Just another piece to give us the flexibility to make a big move if necessary. I think it was very smart. With the inconsistent QB play defining parts of the drought...you have to find a young QB out of the draft to lead you out of this mess we have at QB. If they find a way to move up for Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen....that pick will have helped.
  11. We wouldn't have a third but we'd still have the extra one this year which would be nice. I like the idea.
  12. I think you'd look for a Dawkins type player again in this draft. Seems to be able to play both guard and tackle really well. That versatility is huge. We need more mobile position flexible guys like him on that line. I expect them to draft at least one maybe two lineman.
  13. All you need is a speedy down the field guy and everything will open up. They won't be able to crowd us so much. Just need the speed guy. It will make everyone else better. Just need Marquis Goodwin replaced. He wasn't great here but he opened up the field a bit. I see them addressing it this offseason for the next rookie QB to have.
  14. I wouldn't mind that. We'd still have a second and third pick round pick for other needs. Would be interesting...remember they would be dealing with John Lynch in that 2 spot and he likes to do deals too as seen in his first year with San Fran. Should be interesting
  15. Does the two firsts this year, a second and a fourth get you to the 2nd pick with San Fran? They could take Sam Darnold if Josh Rosen is taken first.
  16. Yeah. Honestly yeah. If they could so easily bring in lesser talented guys and have them produce in the system they run...that shows it's a good system when you really get the right players to fill the roster. He is building a culture of guys who work hard. Hyde is easily one of the best free agents the Bills have picked up in years. The secondary has seen a complete overhaul and looked very impressive when the dline has gotten pressure on the QB. They have now set themselves up with draft picks that can make a huge impact on this roster for next season. Whether they stay and fill their holes or trade up for a QB, it'll really impact the roster. They also have a nice chunk of change in free agency to work with and find those players that fit the scheme as well as Micah Hyde does in McD's secondary. If they go 8-8 or 9-7 this year...yeah we should definitely shocked. Looking at the talent on the team, they shouldn't have that many wins. Helps me believe they are a solid coaching staff. To do that with such little talent...can't wait to see what they can do with a much more talented team next year. Let's just hope they draft well...we shall see. Next year could be the turning point if they hit in the draft.
  17. Dawkins is extremely fast for a lineman from what I've seen. He is so twitchy. Been quite impressed with his play and believe he may take over the left tackle spot. A lot of shady's big runs lately have been on that left side where Dawkins has been sealing or out downfield blocking and done a really nice job of it. If Glenn stays out for a while longer, I could see Dawkins cementing himself at that spot and Glenn either traded to get rid of his high contract along with his injuries or playing at right tackle next season. For me, I think he plays well enough when healthy to be given another year before looking to shed his deal. If he plays well along with Dawkins on the other side and stays injury free, I don't care about his high salary. That would certainly help whoever our QB is next season. I think that will come with a new QB next year honestly. Consistent QB play hasn't been there this year. I expect Zay to have a much better year next year even if it is with a rookie QB.
  18. Surely there will be a lot of trade buzz of teams trying to move up in the draft as teams like Indy and San Fran seem to have their QBs for the future. Buffalo seems to have dipped their hand into that category. With all the picks we have it should be easier for us to move up than a lot of the other teams. My question is: What realistically would we have to give up to get up into the top 5? As much as I'd like it to only be two picks, I have a feeling it will be more than that.
  19. Peterman. Even if he doesn't prove he's a starter, I'd rather give him snaps. If he needs to come in sometime in the future as our backup, it would do him some good to get a few NFL games under his belt so he can learn from them. Tyrod isn't on the roster next season. Give Peterman a chance to develop more. He's done some nice things at times...with a nice day from Shady and reasonable offensive line play like Tyrod got, Peterman may have a chance to see what his best play level is. We know what his worst is...why not give him a chance to show us his best ball?
  20. I love how everyone blames the team for being too conservative and then blame them for taking chances...make up your mind people
  21. While I'm in the Josh Allen boat, he's still a Junior
  22. It's posts like these that remind me how impatient this fan base is that we just keep running every single person out of town. Keep running people out of town and coaches will be turning away our offers like they have with the university of Tennessee. The sky isn't falling, we've got a load of picks in the offseason to restock the team with talent. He's a rookie head coach too, fans don't give anything time to develop anymore do they...geez
  23. How can we judge a QB that comes into a game down by 20. How can we judge a QB with only 1 start? Tyrod had protection today for the most part but held on to the ball and got hurt. I don't care that the kid had one bad game. Tyrod has had more than a few crap performances himself. Even if it is a long shot with the young kid, why not take a chance when Tyrod clearly can't do it?
