Rodak: Bills Remain Confident in Zay Jones
The Now Moment replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think anyone can sit here and say it's been all Tyrod's fault or all Zay's fault. Both have shared a blame in the disconnect that they've had this year. Tyrod misses Zay when he's open sometimes and doesn't it throw it and Zay has had butterfingers at times. Hoping with a new QB, this will be behind Zay. He's had 399 receptions in college, he's talented. The chemistry and connection between the Tyrod and him has been absent this year. -
Will Sammy ever go to a team that uses him the way many people think he should be used? He looks like a guy that can put up all the numbers but hasn't to this point in his career. We shall see what he decides to do in free agency

OL doing pretty well, actually
The Now Moment replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For a rookie thrust into the lineup at LT...he's been pretty great. Every offensive line has a few games that aren't great. It happens. Those teams have solid D-lines -

While I like the idea and am all for it, he's gotta be healthy and just hasn't been. Hoping he'll turn it around next year -

The PFFs stats could be based on how long the QB has to throw the ball and with Tyrod holding onto it longer than most QBs...it wouldn't be surprising that they are rated high. They give up a lot of pressures after several seconds of blocking and that counts as a pressure for ESPN but for PFF they recognize that the offensive line is asked to block for an extended amount of time and have done fairly well with it?? Just a guess. Dawkins has been nothing short of great. He's often out in front of Mccoy as the lead blocker on a gashing run down the field. He's been impressive. -
Top two NFL QBs in salary, did not make the playoffs
The Now Moment replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Okay? Sure. I think we all know it's a team game. Thought that was common knowledge. As a part of that, an improvement at the QB position is needed. -
Athletes do seem to return to the field much faster than the average joe. I wouldn't be surprised if he's back and healthy by the start of the season but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't either

Three non-QB’s I like outside of the 1st Round
The Now Moment replied to Dkollidas's topic in College Football
Tegray Scales and Isaiah Wynn are ones I like too. There are a lot of guys to like. The combine, senior bowl and interview process bring some of the unknown prospects to light -

I disagree about the best hands in the draft. Dallas Goedert will be a draft riser and has been talked about as the best tight end in this class. One handed catches, contested catches...looks like a young Gronk out there. This will be the first tight end taken. Had the best production by a tight end in college by a clear mile this year. Just watch him: Does the last play in the second video remind you of anyone? -
the TT bashing is just so tiresome
The Now Moment replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let him get a full offseason to recover and I'm sure he will be fine. We've complained how we don't have a guy like Gronk for years...now we have one. -

He may be running a 4.9 but he was still dominant in that game...should tell you just how talented he really is. Just needs to be used properly -
I've said this in other threads about Allen, you can't just look at the stats. Watch the games and you may just find yourself forming a different opinion like I have. I see talent that will translate to the NFL better than some of the other QB prospects. Could use a year to learn and some coaching up but this kid has some eye-popping talent. Makes more NFL caliber throws. His combine, interview process and other testing will be very intriguing. Also, to those saying that Mayfield is a competitor, Allen came back to the bowl game after a shoulder injury held him out two games. In a time where many players are skipping bowl games, he decided to go out there and show everyone what he's got and won that game with 3 TDs in the first quarter. He's a competitor too. He's got the fire as I watched him motivating his teammates on the sideline during games too. All angles must be considered.

San Diego, New York Giants, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, maybe the Cards...all of those teams with veteran QBs who should be looking for the next QB of their franchise. I agree that if we pick up another veteran...we could be in this conversation but that could be said about almost any team unfortunately

A quick look into our team lineup next year imo
The Now Moment replied to westerndecline's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Quenton Nelson is rated the top offensive lineman in this class. He will never come close to falling to our pick. Guards have been taken top 10 lately as teams have realized how important they are. -
I'm not banging the table for Manziel but 5th round??? I hope that's a joke because I can't take this seriously
-
Been an Allen fan but he may not be right for us. He needs to sit behind a veteran QB and learn. Who is he gonna learn from...Tyrod??? That's laughable unfortunately
-
Some of the posters here act like Tyrod doesn't get any pass play calls in the second half or throughout the game. When the play is called, he makes the decisions on the field. He's the one that doesn't throw the ball down the field. The players are out there running routes down the field but Tyrod is the one that is dumping it off to the running back or taking off running it. Defend him all you want but he is the one on the field that isn't throwing the ball down the field.

It is just mindboggling to me how teams make knee jerk reactions and fans call for them too based on one year where a team doesn't have a lot of talent. Just a bunch of lazy fans and management in my opinion. Give them a chance to build something
-
Houston has their franchise QB on the team and they were playing well when he was in though. O'brien had his offense fitting Watson like a glove. Would be one of the most ridiculous moves in recent memory by any team.
-
Fire the Head Coach when they have garbage playing at QB??? That sounds like the Cleveland way...
-
Haha it was spot on dude. We barely have any YAC because Tyrod doesn't hit a player in stride. Go back and watch his passes this year. They were an effort to catch and caused the receivers to break stride. There are countless examples. Not sure how someone doesn't see this during games. I rewatch the games every week and find myself in awe at how inaccurate he is.
