This doesn't make any sense to me. They aren't paid any money as it is and they are trying to make sure some day that they will get paid. Clayton Thorson was carted off with a gruesome knee injury in his bowl game, he's lucky he didn't have to come out this year. That would've ruined his draft stock and I doubt he'd even been drafted. The young players have to take care of their future and their families, it's not all about our entertainment.

I liked the aggressive approach, all the momentum was on our side. It's easy to look back at it and say that it was bad but at the time that would've put us up by three touchdowns (7 points each). It's a 50/50 chance, I wanted to put the nail in the coffin and end that game right there. Like I mentioned earlier, some fans will hate the decision, some will like it. I've watched the Pats and the Steelers make those calls in the past and it was the nail in the coffin for the other team. I'm not as conservative as you, that's where we differ.

Just as easily could've been 6-10 and just as easily could've been 11-5. Played a ton of close games this year haha

Some fans don't really pay any attention to other players and when we bring in someone they haven't heard of, they are a garbage player to them. It's a lazy fans game that many play and they come on here to complain that he's not a big name. Happens all the time and it's quite sad IMO

Gaines has been huge for this defense all season. I don't care if some think he was just a throw in on the Sammy deal, he's been really solid when on the field including yesterday.

I'd rather play Bortles than Smith. Bortles will likely turn the ball over more

I give credit to this regime for bringing in these guys. They've been the heart and sole of the defense all season. They deserve a ton of credit

I get your point but that was a risk I was willing to take and so was McDermott. Like I said, some fans won't like the decision but I wanted them to go for it.

I sat 30 feet away from the TV, in the farthest seat that you can still see in our open concept house. I sat there as Cincy was driving, not making a peep as the rest of my family was reacting to the poor throws from Dalton with colorful words. I sat there saying to myself don't get your hopes up, don't be foolish. Got my hopes up in the past. I stood up slowly as the pass was made and then ran around the house celebrating with my father, brother and mom. Years of going to school with Bills jerseys and being made fun of as the team that sucks, going to school on draft day wearing a Bills helmet and more laughter. I got a chance to watch the Bills clinch the playoffs for the first time in my life. It was certainly emotional, especially to do that with my family around me. We've watched every game throughout the drought, this was a new feeling after a Bills game. I can finally feel proud of my team and wear that too tight helmet like an idiot with my head held high! Can't wait to see my first Bills playoff game! I felt the emotion too haha Happy New Year!!

Three touchdowns (7 points each) puts that game out of reach in my opinion. Nail in the coffin. Even at 20, three touchdowns would allow Miami to take the lead. I wanted to finish them. Stick a fork in them. I liked the aggressive call. Just because it didn't work doesn't mean it was the wrong call.

Have replayed that play after the game 10 times and am still at a loss.

Some fans called this team gutless a few weeks ago for not sticking up for White, well Davis took none of Drake's crap tonight. He pinned him on the ground and beat him up big brother style. To those who were calling this team weak/gutless/etc. is this redemption for you?

Some fans will like the calls some will hate them. I liked his going for two today. Many teams would have done the same. Again, some fans will hate some calls but that doesn't mean they were wrong.

Agreed. He's just not good enough. Poor in coverage, not a great run stuffer and looks like he wears cement blocks for shoes at times. He's mediocre at best and McDermott clearly likes having a different type of linebacker.

I only keep him if we can't find his replacement. He's okay but not the leader of the defense I think McDermott wants in his MLB. He doesn't do anything really well and isn't a sideline to sideline guy. I'd be drafting his replacement.

I love this team and I will be a Bills fan until I have a heart attack that puts me 6 feet under when we win the super bowl some day but I will get there faster if Tyrod is the starting QB of this team one more season. Countless mistakes and limitations. He was a decent bridge QB. I want to win a super bowl not be a first round out like Cincinnati or Houston has been the last several years. Time to move on

Yup and if they made it, it would have been a 3 touchdown lead at the time. Many teams would have gone for it there. They didn't get it, too bad. If they made it everyone would be saying how it is a good call. Like I said, some fans will think it was a bad call to try to get it up to a three touchdown lead, others will like the aggressive call. He's hated for being too conservative and then gets crapped on for being aggressive.
