  1. Can't ask about those things in job interviews...those are job interviews.
  2. Pick something else to ask. That is such a dated series of questions. You can get the reactions you want from other questions, these are not acceptable nowadays. Asking those questions for a football player...absolutely no need for it.
  3. I would tell them to not draft me and walk out. What they do with their lives is their business not the NFL teams or the fans. Not okay at all. Disgusted that some fans think that is fine. Get your nose out of other people's lives. The media needs to do the same and let the players live without a spotlight on their heads 24/7.
  4. We have more assets to trade up than any of those teams. We could jump up to a team begging for talent and get our guy. I'd let some of our free agents walk this year and get the compensatory picks. Let the QB play out his rookie year and whatever happens, happens. Next offseason when we have tons of money and the compensatory picks, we could fill in the needs of the rest of the roster. That's pretty close to what Philly did. They traded up for wentz. Got a lot of free agents after his rookie year including Alshon Jeffrey. I hope this is the plan. I have no problem trading most of our picks this year to get a guy. Maybe we get lucky and don't have to trade all of them. Who knows...
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if their record dips a bit but if they let some of the guys walk this year, they could have a lot of compensatory picks and some high ones next year to help fill in the gaps along with a lot more money for free agency next year. You could see what the QB needs to have to be successful this year and get what he needs next offseason. He'd have a year of experience and some new weapons. Similar to what Philly did with Wentz. They got Jeffrey last year after Wentz played out his rookie year. They also brought in a bunch of other players threw free agency and trades like Ajayi. That would be the way to go IMO
  6. This city has life now because of those playoffs. Free agents now look to come here because we are so close to winning. No thanks to that trade.
  7. Three other draft picks good sir. Dawkins is a first round talent in my opinion. I'd rather have the player than the draft pick
  8. I would really like this. He is young enough to mold him as a player still. Adding one more edge player whether it is through the draft or free agency would be ideal.
  9. I like Allen, I also like Daquon Jones as an underrated option. Both were hurt a bit but were starting to come into their own in the league. I think one of them and a rookie would be a realistic situation.
  10. A suggestion for you, don't dream up a scenario that isn't remotely realistic to attempt to make an argument. Also, read the full posts and dissect what it means before jumping off a cliff over one sentence that could be explained later.
  11. I explained it in the following sentence man...thanks though
  12. WHAT??!!?? That isn't the scenario. If the option is to trade 5 draft picks or 2 draft picks and Dawkins, I choose giving away the draft picks. They aren't sure things, Dawkins could be our franchise tackle for years. Who said anything about Stafford and White??
  13. YOU DON"T TRADE YOUNG TALENT LIKE DAWKINS INSTEAD OF DRAFT PICKS!!!! I'd trade 3 more draft picks before giving away a guy who could be our left tackle of the future. Those draft picks are not sure things by any means. This is beyond stupid IMO
  14. There's a handful of really talented tight ends in this class. He isn't the best talent of the group IMO.
  15. Dallas would easily be the best pass-catching TE on our team. Why would you be upset? He looks like Gronk coming out of college. Him in the second round would be a nice move IMO. He has a huge catch radius for a young QB and then Clay and his injuries, butterfingers and bloated contract could be done in Buffalo
  16. Look at the Hall of Famers he drafted in Buffalo and in Indy. Plus, the talents he brought in otherwise. He was one of the best GMs. Everyone has misses. That's the draft but when your hits are hall of famers...that's when you've got a really good GM
  17. All of these QBs need to improve. All of them have problems in their games that they need to fix and get better at and Allen is no different. He just has the highest ceiling of all of them IMO. I hope whoever drafts him allows him to sit and learn. These other QBs have accuracy issues too, it's not just Allen. I think he will be fine and people are just overreacting to stats because that's what this day and age is all about...overreacting to stats.
  18. I'd rather have him inside where he can shoot the gap and flush the QB out of the pocket. That is something we lacked this year and our DEs production was hurt because of the lack of pressure up the middle as well.
  19. He needs to go to the right situation. One where he can sit and learn for a year and will have talents around him but he can certainly get better with his accuracy. Why can he not improve in that area? He was forced to make a lot of passes on the run instead of with his feet planted. With better protection, I think his accuracy concerns will be a thing of the past. He just needs time to learn in the NFL and I think he will be fine. What about Darnold? He had one of the highest turnover rates of any QB in college football this year? Rosen's completion percentage wasn't that good either in his career and Rudolph averaged around a 50 percent completion rate against ranked opponents. Every QB in this class has concerning stats. Every last one of them.
  20. I didn't say they had a lot of drops. I said some. I focused more on the lack of protection and the wrs inability to get open.
  21. Did anyone watch the games? Anyone? I watched several games this year. His receivers dropped some passes but his offensive line was atrocious. He had constant pressure and was forced out of the pocket a lot. He had to throw the ball away more than any other QB in this class. He didn't have one of the top tackles in their class protecting him like Rosen and Mayfield did. His receivers also couldn't get open to save their lives. No separation whatsoever. His running game this year was terrible. He was the team. He did everything. His completion percentage is a direct result of the lack of talent around him. There's no question he needs to improve his accuracy, as does every QB in this class. Allen could use a year on the bench to learn and it could help his talents translate to the NFL. Stop looking at just stats. Stats don't tell the whole story. But that's what this day and age is all about isn't it? Stats stats stats stats stats stats stats
  22. A lot of the time Allen was throwing the ball away because he was running for his life. Played with no talent and Jackson was Lousiville. They had very little talent. Rudolph was on a team that had two receivers that will be drafted fairly high this year and an overall solid group of talent around him. He was horrible against any defense that was worth anything. He didn't take many snaps from center and didn't have to make many reads as the throw had a predestined location before the snap. The offense is built around getting receivers wide open so it is easier on the QB. It is very hard to scout that. He hasn't done what would be asked of him from an NFL team much. That's concerning. A slightly higher completion percentage with the team he had and the system he had means absolutely nothing to me and shouldn't to scouts either. He could be great but he just doesn't have the film that translates to the NFL. He showed a lack of awareness in big games and didn't move up in the pocket. I would take Jackson over him at 2. Rudolph needs a year to sit on the pine as well IMO.
  23. Can certainly help out a QB but this class has a lot of TEs that are really good. I don't think he is the best of them. TE class is a deep one this year and with Clay being smaller and having a down year last year, I'd be up for drafting one and saying goodbye to Clay's contract next soon. I don't think it is a need at the moment but a young TE to pair with a rookie QB isn't a bad idea. Also, why not pick from one of the positions of strength in the class?
