  1. The dots this year are really hard to connect for me because of all of the options. Cleveland makes the most sense taking Allen but who the F knows haha. This year is been so crazy already. Very entertaining. Would love to see Buffalo trade up to 4 and give up a little less in the process for whoever they are looking to get. 2 is a really far jump. My ideal situation is us jumping up to 7 or 9 and grabbing our guy but that seems unlikely with all of the other QB needy teams there.
  2. Agreed that this class is heavier at certain positions but I don't know if they will be jumping on the compensatory train or not next year. To me, that is a great option. More talent and still all the cap room.
  3. Biggest question mark guy for me is Sam Bradford. He has been so close to breaking through to the next level of QB play but injuries have cost him. I think he could be an interesting signing with an opt out clause included.
  4. I understand but this is a process. I don't think they want to spend all of their money this year until they know what they need to put around the QB. Philly waited to spend money and trade for guys until year 2 once they knew what Wentz utilized most.
  5. Those moves also support that they are trying to avoid losing compensatory picks to bring in talent now. There are other ways they can bring in talent this year.
  6. There is a laundry list of reasons why he wasn't productive this year. You can't seriously blame it on just the receivers.
  7. You really think they are gonna blow there chance this year at a few compensatory picks for next year? They could have a good number of picks next year (already have 9) and a ton of cap space to fill in the rest of the gaps. I think it'd be a mistake to not get the compensatory picks.
  8. Quite frankly I don't understand the hate towards Lawson. He hasn't been healthy sure but he played well last season. He played in 11 games with 33 tackles and had 4 sacks. He was well on his way to 50 tackles and 6-7 sacks which in his second year, would have been very solid in my opinion. If you don't like him because of the injuries, that is one thing but to say he doesn't have talent...I think that's just not true. He is a run stopping DE. Those types of ends usally have 6-8 sack seasons. But the fans want the 20 sack guys. It's all about the sacks for fans. Jerry Hughes has been one of the most productive pass rushers in terms of hurries on our team in years but that seems to go under the radar as well.
  9. No doubt. They didn't want to commit to him and build around what he needs. I think he can do well with all of the talent that will be around him in Cleveland if he ends up being the starter.
  10. Or they could do something else...it's the Browns.
  11. I've heard Poe is expected to get potentially over 10. The two would cost closer to 20 combined IMO
  12. I think it's conditional based on if Barkley falls to 4 or not. Or it could be if a certain QB is there at the pick. Who knows haha??? This is gonna be one crazy offseason.
  13. I don't think this is realistic. Both will command big money.
  14. That third round pick could be sent back with the two firsts essentially being Tyrod and two firsts...
  15. He's a very solid bridge QB IMO tho. I think he will be the best cleveland has had in years...just like he was one of the best we've had in years. That's not saying much but he wasn't the worst we've seen haha
  16. I could see that 3rd pick going back to Cleveland with the 2 firsts...essentially being Tyrod and two firsts
  17. I say they sign Derek Anderson as an insurance policy as soon as free agency hits. They still have a trade partner but maybe it is at 4 and don't want to do it now in case someone trades ahead of them. Maybe this trade that is in place is the reason why the Browns are so willing to toss around their draft picks???
  18. I'd certainly consider him as a veteran guy for the squad. He could help out the two young QBs we will have in Peterman and ...
  19. GMs seem to be more willing to give up their draft picks that's for sure. I think it adds another level of intrigue to the game. No more waiting around in the offseason for free agency with no moves happening. I like it
  20. He was wrong for this team...hope he does well in cleveland but he was wrong for us.
  21. The media is the one that brings the two together. That's the problem. The players should be able to post and say what they want on social media. Fans way overreact to someone else's personal life as if they have any right to judge. Media needs to stop reporting details on players lives.
  22. If I were a player I'd walk out on the interview. Not someone I'd want to work for and clearly Guice felt the same
  23. Eagles: Trade picks for QB, get compensatory picks by letting people walk, sign free agents in year 2 and trade for players to surround the QB. Follow that plan please.
