  1. Draft the LBs. Nice draft to get one or even two.
  2. Can everyone stop looking at stats! Watch the guy play and you'll see his worth
  3. No question he was missed but his antics and his giant salary wasn't worth a space eater. That money goes to a flashy DT that gets all the tackles and sacks and does it all.
  4. Yeah I quoted the wrong post haha my bad. Still like the signing and he's not declining. He just does a different job. He frees up everyone else. Gotta have that guy on the team.
  5. He frees up linebackers, I'm sure Keuchly will miss him. He won't make all the plays himself but he was a big piece on that Carolina defense don't be mistaken. Stats don't show everything.
  6. No doubt. Need guys like this to help free up the flashier players.
  7. Posted this before free agency even opens lmao. I guess patience doesn't exist anymore does it
  8. The guy eats space and takes up blockers. The people saying no on here want the DTs that get 10 sacks. He's not flashy but he gets the job done and frees up the dlineman around them. First part of a new DLine. I like it
  9. If it means we only have to give up our two first rounders and maybe a late round pick to move into the top 5 to get our franchise QB while still having a solid LT for the future in place and two second round picks and two third round picks and all of next years picks...YES YES a million times YES!! Those draft picks can help us fill in talent for the future right away. This was a very big deal. Huge!
  10. Doesn't both our firsts get up into the top 4? If that's what's called giving up the farm, then sure. Doesn't both our firsts get up into the top 4? If that's what's called giving up the farm, then sure.
  11. Get the QB this year and have money to spend on some of his needs next year when you know what he really needs. You don't want to tie up any money before you even have a QB. That's the point of all of this man.
  12. Good. Tough love. Gotta know what it takes to be a future hall of famer. Just a rookie being around a guy like that would be a good thing.
  13. You win nothing by being conservative and not taking any chances. Ask the Eagles if conservative decisions took them out of the crapper to wearing a ring. Fans beg for less conservative play calling yet want conservative decision making like this in the offseason...be aggressive for a change. You have to take a chance sometime.
  14. The funny thing is, there are so many really stupid threads out there that this one doesn't even sound like a joke haha
  15. DT Corey Liuget for San Diego is a name I'd be looking at. He has a monster contract now and hasn't performed to it in recent years. However, he is only 27 and has had a handful of years of really solid play. In a new scheme, he could return to form. Former first round pick who has needed a scheme switch from being a DE in a 3-4 scheme. He played better as a DT inside. He'd need to come at a smaller price tag though. He is one on my watch list.
  16. Corey Luiget and Brandon Mebane from San Diego have been reported to be potential cuts. Non-DT potential cuts could be packer wide outs. They just paid Adams, Cobb and Nelson have huge contracts that the packers may be looking to get out of.
  17. We've seen Buffalo pounce on a few players that have been released already. It seems like they could be trying to avoid spending a lot in free agency to keep the compensatory picks that they could get by letting some of their players walk. I'm sure there will be grumbling about this idea but there could be plenty of good players that won't go against the cap this offseason. Big names seem to be on the move. Wouldn't be surprised if Buffalo is just waiting for teams to drop certain players.
  18. Honestly, nobody. Teams don't just willingly trade their starting QBs that are really good. Free agency has more than enough options though if they want to go that route. Maybe Foles but that's about it.
  19. Seattle is not giving up Russel Wilson who has been to the super bowl with them...not a chance
  20. I remember fans on here saying Tyrod couldn't get anything in a trade and I got roasted for even thinking we'd be able to trade him. That crow tasts pretty good doesn't it haha
  21. I think this year will be a tough year record wise. I don't know if we will be as good as last year in that category but it'd be a mistake to doubt them. That being said, the following year...that is when this team can really do some damage. It'd be year 2 of QB and we'd be coming off an offseason where we had a ton of cap. We also have 9 draft picks so far for 2019 which can increase if we take the compensatory route.
  22. My thoughts are that they get as many guys as they can that don't go against the compensatory picks, they get their QB through the draft and whatever picks they have left use to fill some of the needs. We have 9 picks this year in the first 5 rounds. Even if it takes a massive haul to trade up, they will still have a good deal of picks to add talent to this team. They've already added 3 players. They can pick up guys that don't count against the cap this year that are still good. They can also be on the lookout for more player trades. I just think that we can get a small ransom of draft picks next year for our free agents that leave. We already have 9 draft picks next year and I'm sure some of those picks will be traded but adding another 2 or 3 picks would be huge in this rebuilding process. That along with a lot of cap space next year would be just what the doctor ordered for a team close to tasting a contender. This is the formula that the Eagles used. Gaines could get a nice pick, Brown and Mathews could also bring in something. We will see though, I'm excited.
  23. They didn't want to design an offense around a guy that they didn't want there. I understand that. They want to build the team through the draft and get their QB that way. Buffalo has seen way too many QBs from other teams over the years, I think they want to change that. No more basement QB pickups turned into starter like so many of our previous QBs have been. They didn't want to stick with that.
