  1. I'd add just smaller signings and wait to see who gets cut. Let the players play this year and fill in what is needed next season. No reason to try to jam every need into one offseason, it's just not feasible.
  2. If we can trade him, do it! Otherwise, let him go. Why keep him around when we know what kind of distraction he can become in a locker room? They got rid of other players because they carried too much baggage, why wouldn't they do the same with him?
  3. Nope. You can walk away. I've had my fair share of bullies, no need to fight back. You fight back by being the stronger and smarter person and walk away from that. It's amazing to me what people choose to stand and fight for. So many real things to fight for...
  4. No, I'm not a meathead. Football is a game, it's entertainment to take our minds off of the real world. Nothing worth fighting over.
  5. Maybe it's better to let the rookie QB play with what we have and assess what he needs to be more successful in his rookie year and then get him what he needs in the following offseason. Philly didn't pick up Ajayi and Jeffrey until Wentz's sophomore season
  6. The Rams and Eagles added the rest of their talent after getting their QB...
  7. People really think teams would pass up a chance at a guy with the biggest arm we've seen since Rodgers? Just needs some molding
  8. Find out what the QB needs before getting another receiver. We don't know who our QB is yet...
  9. I also mentioned people on here talking about 1st round potential QBs saying they can't improve as they move to the NFL. You can "yap" all you want about Qbs in certain rounds that will never make it but Tom Brady, Marc Bulger, Mark Brunell, Rich Gannon, Brad Johnson, Matt Hasselbeck, Joe Theismann, Mark Rypien, Roger Staubach and Bart Starr all say hi. It happens, so thanks. Kurt Warner wasn't even drafted...you can chuck your argument right out the window. Any player just needs a chance, a real chance.
  10. Most of those QBs improved as time went on. A lot of fans here don't believe a QB can improve. I've heard it with draft prospects saying they won't improve from their college days to the NFL. It's armchair GM season remember... The guy can improve and if he does, he will compete for the starting job. If not, he will stay in the background where he is now
  11. If he isn't rushed, he may develop properly and be a great QB. His potential is the highest in this class IMO
  12. I like the thought. I think we should definitely be aggressive in the trade market soon.
  13. They remember when bread was a nickel and forget about the ever rising cap and inflation.
  14. Pessimism is a disease
  15. No he is not almost as good against the run. Why do you think Trent Murphy is here? Because he can rush the passer while Lawson plays the run.
  16. They will still have plenty of picks even if they trade up to 2.
  17. I record games and watch them twice. I've seen him play plenty. Look at the plays he made in the run game.
  18. On pace for 6-7 sacks and was miles better against the run than Capi. Lawson can improve in pass rush but he's already solid against the run. Not every DE that is good gets 10 plus sacks. It's not all about how many sacks a guy gets.
  19. Nope not even close If Lawson would have played out the full year last year, he was on pace for around 50 tackles and 6-7 sacks...
  20. Charles Johnson, Kewonn Short and all those carolina boys were on a rotation as well and they played fine. Kept them fresh.
  21. And Milano played really well last year. So what if he's a 5th round pick. Who cares... We have draft capital that we can spend on linebackers. Not even worried in the slightest. I'd rather not overpay for any of those guys. Don't need big name free agents to fill every need.
  22. Lawson's solid against the run and now they just picked up a guy who can pass rush. Rotation rotation rotation. Also, Shaq Lawson wasn't the number one overall pick.
  23. It's a mock draft trade. I'm really trying not to be rude here but it's pretty obvious. If we traded up wouldn't you think you'd hear it from somewhere besides a mock draft
  24. The problem with using sarcasm in on a written post in these boards is you can't tell, especially with all the 100% serious posts that are absolute dumpster fires. Bunch of dumb threads/posts and some sarcastic posts thrown in...which is which. I just call them all dumb.
  25. We are trying to improve the WR position, not be exactly the same as last years...
