There are many solid RBs left. 5th round is still a great area to draft a guy that can still contribute right away at RB. I think there is a real chance of finding an immediate impact part-time starter in the fifth round with the players that are still on the board.

They are making the defense for this year because they know our offense will be a work in progress over the next few years as Allen learns. Defense kept us in games last year and they want to keep that going into next year.

He fits this defense well and it fits a need. Can't argue.

He's going to be lower on a general board because he is a system guy. He is cover corner and not every team is looking for that.

We needed a corner and this regime has shown us they know what they are looking for in the secondary so far. I like the pick and having a young guy like to be able to play with White will help him.

There's so many good players there still. Unless they absolutely love a guy, they are going to be able to get a really good one with the pick they have now

He would go along with the other projects we have selected this draft so far. Would make sense

I think he would be a great pass catcher for a young QB.

What about Josh Sweat? People want more pressure on the QB and this guy can do that. Speed speed speed.

I like a few running backs still. This is the value area for that position, 4-5th round.

Simmie Cobbs, St Brown, and some other bigger wide receivers are also there

I'd rather get someone younger but if we don't have that option, I wouldn't mind him. I would almost never turn away a hall of fame player because they can help other players develop. However, I actually really like Nick O'leary as a receiving option.

Peterman is still here and I'm not willing to throw him away just yet. Three QBs on the squad, can't afford to keep anymore.

Since they like incredible athletes and aren't afraid of a project, what about the rugby player Lafoga Mailata? 6'8" 345 hasn't played a down in the NFL but he is a monster athlete. He has 35.5 inch arms, 5.12 40-yard dash, and a 4.67 short shuttle. Late round flier? Could be a very intriguing right tackle project. He is projected to be drafted at some point today. Unbelievable athlete for his size. I don't expect us to get him but I thought this idea seemed fitting for the post.

Need some more depth but they have plenty of picks left and there are still some nice options in FA. Very happy with how they've gone about fixing the major hole in the middle of this defense.

Just watch his highlights, he lived in the backfield. Not an athletic freak but he got the job done almost every time.

The more position flexibility the better. We picked up two guys that can help against both the run and pass...really showing what type of defense they are trying to build here.

That's all we can do, root for the kid instead of tearing him down.

I think he will move around a lot. He has so much potential I don't see why we shouldn't try to maximize it. However, I think he will play MLB a good amount. Not opposed to Jewell at all. I love that kid. Scales and Mccray can also be added to the list of athletic linebackers. A lot of solid players still available. Solid RB choices still on the board, would love to get a big back to help out Mccoy. We can find a good amount of depth and maybe even a starter or two if we are lucky today. Very excited!

Why has any expert/NFL scout fallen in love with him? Of course his size, mobility, ability to throw the home run ball and he has shown glimpses of the Arron Rodgers throwing out of the pocket down the field. Every single QB in this class needs to get better. Nobody is good enough right now. Why not take the guy with the highest potential, especially since he doesn't have to start right away.
