  1. I know I mentioned some throws from the game but I was more referencing the week of practice he had at the senior bowl. He made some nice improvements with his footwork.
  2. It's projected to be a very solid offensive line class as of right now. Depending on how things go, I think next year will be an offensive heavy draft to help out Allen.
  3. Josh Allen's senior bowl was really solid. The game was solid as well. He made some throws down the field just like this one that should make Bills fans jump for joy. We as a fan base have been begging for a guy to throw the ball down the field, this is the guy to do that. I still drool over his touchdown throws in the senior bowl game.
  4. Kick returns need to come back to the sport. People complain that it'll flip the field too much...kick cover really well. It's a part of the game and has been for a long time. If they feel there is a way to keep it a part of the game and have it still impact the game without causing a ton of injuries, let's do it.
  5. Fans are gonna say he's a dick but he did what he thought was in the best interest for his career and I don't blame him one bit. Clearly, it worked out well for him.
  6. It makes sense. Whether it's true or not, it makes sense. I know so many people wanted Rosen but did they really take into consideration his fit for this team? Attitude questionable at times and he's got some red flag injuries, especially for a team that plays in cold weather a lot. Mayfield had his fair share of off the field stuff that didn't happen when he was 16 but happened throughout his college career. Fans just look at stats and the highlight reels and make their choice of who they want. Wouldn't be shocked if this was true.
  7. We've seen what kind of QB he is while running for his life and without very much talent around him. What kind of QB is he with some time and a few playmakers like Mccoy and Benjamin...we will see soon enough.
  8. Timing seemed to be an issue with Tyrod and ZJ. There were certainly other issues but the two never seemed to be on the same page. Hopefully, both put in enough work to establish a chemistry. Just have to wait to find out.
  9. Give the kid time to develop before saying what his career will or won't be. I will never understand how fans come to conclusions about player's career before they take the field for us. The kid is playing behind a solid veteran and a great DT. He is a very smart kid and will learn from both of them. Hopefully, he improves and fits in like a glove, time will tell.
  10. I agree. I've only ever debated his play on the field. Stats aren't the bottom line...that sort of thing. I've seen too much of his film to blame his numbers on him. His offensive line had him running for his life or being hit almost every play and his receivers did him no favors. For some reason people think that is an exaggeration but you really just have to watch the film to see it, it's pretty obvious. Plus, playing in a pro-style system didn't do his completion percentage any favors as he was pushing the ball down the field a lot. That being said, it doesn't mean he is or will become a great QB. I have trust that he will improve like he showed improvement at the senior bowl. Even people who aren't high on him can't take away what he did at the senior bowl playing with better talent. I thought fans would be excited that we finally have a guy that is willing to toss the ball around the yard and not dump it to the running back every play. Every rookie will have concerns, especially a rookie QB but I think he has the right mentality to become a very solid starter if not better in this league. I think the point against the "haters" is why complain now? He is a Bill and that isn't changing any time soon. Why not root for the young guy and unite as a fan base to support him? We have been divided over QBs for far too long.
  11. Does it make us a kool-aid drinker if I generally think Allen is much better than people give him credit for and have been saying this for months? I like the players that they drafted. I've questioned some moves but they have a vision and at the end of the day, they are the ones that have the blueprints, not us. Nobody jumped for joy when Poyer was signed. So many said he was an overpaid backup. The regime has shown the ability to find guys that fit what they want to do. Let's hope that it continues with this draft and moving forward.
  12. Most fans only look at stats. I've been saying this since last year. Allen isn't a stats guy in college because of the team he is on. You can't come to a conclusion about a college football player based on the player's stats. When are fans going to learn this?
  13. Maybe they wanted to push for the youth movement in the secondary. They already have veterans in that area. Youth is needed.
  14. Just because he was a former first round pick, doesn't mean he fits what Buffalo wants and would contribute to our team. Pass from me
  15. If last year is any indication, they will still pick up veterans.
  16. Why would a player getting/playing better make it painful to say? That's a positive thing
  17. We have Edmunds, Milano, Alexander, Humber, Vallejo, Julian Stanford and N we should be fine. eal could play a little in the box safety/linebacker. I think the depth is better than you think. It's a developing group. The young guys will have to step up their game but should be fine. This is a developing team and they have a nice mix of veterans and young guys. Let them compete.
  18. I know, that was my point.
  19. Which is around what teams usually give a new HC/GM duo. Unless we are talking about the Bills or Cleveland...oh wait Not necessarily. Jadaveon Clowney is a great example. People were screaming bust from the hilltops and in his 4th season with the team he arrived. Sometimes teams just need to be patient. The fans won't be but the front office must.
  20. At some point you've got to trust your coaching staff to do what they are paid to do, coach up and develop players.
  21. If Allen misses, I think they are gone. If Allen hits, doesn't matter what the others do this year. They have a few years here. They will not get the axe because of a LB and DT.
  22. Doubt it. Usually when a QB is picked that high, the GM lives and dies by that selection. We may not see him until 2018 but Beane and McDermott secured their positions for at least a few years by making it to the playoffs with a less than stellar roster last season.
  23. Some of us know that you have to take the draft with a grain of salt because it is a wait and see process. None of us know who will come in and fit well with this team. None of us know who will fill starting positions. However, they brought in competitive players. None of the QBs in this draft were "safe" picks. All of them had some flaws. We picked the flaws we think could be correctable. Sometimes you have to take a risk to get a reward. Talk to the Rams and the world champion Philadelphia Eagles and see if they regret going up to get their guy. It's a process, how many times does the coaching staff have to say it? They weren't very talented before for the schemes they are playing now, a new roster was needed and they are well on their way to repaving it over a few years. They are building a culture of hard working low drama guys. Patience is a virtue that has been lost in today's world.
  24. I honestly don't think we will sign too many more rookies. McDermott likes his experienced players too and there are plenty left in FA. Leave a little room for flexibility over the next few months.
  25. I'm glad I mean that much to you. Come back to me when you have an answer that has a foundation to it
