  1. And this coaching staff was the first one to take us to the playoffs in that time but they simply aren't good enough for some fans. Did it in their first year with limited talent too. It's like some fans expect a coach to come in and immediately take us to the super bowl. Where has patience gone? Do people understand it takes time to build great things. 20 years but this coaching staff has been here for less than two and they have a playoff appearance already.
  2. Ok but a 5th round pick isn't expected to be a starter and some aren't even expected to make a team.
  3. No thanks. I'd rather have a pass rusher and he is losing his pass rushing abilities.
  4. Many players are inconsistent early in their career and develop out of it. It happens all the time. Is he there yet, no obviously not but he just got called up and started playing.
  5. Foster looks to be improving. Shouldn't be considered a number one at this point. He should get full playing time now. He looks like a great stretch the field candidate moving into next season and with Allen's arm, one might conclude that they will become best friends soon. With a progressing Zay Jones in the slot, we could be looking at two good targets moving forward. I'd be looking for a tough number 1 and an athletic receiving tight end for Allen. I'd like to see what Daboll can do next year. He's shown some things with his play calling in the last two weeks with his use of Mckenzie.
  6. Can't look at preseason play for any rookie to be a good indicator about their play. They need time to develop and acclimate themselves to the NFL.
  7. I think they will add an offensive lineman or two in FA. I expect them to draft 1 or more as well. Wide receiver looks like it'll need to be addressed in the draft.
  8. I expect McDermott to have Lorenzo's 3rd linebacker replacement high on the list of needs this spring. Adding another young stud to the linebacker core that can play downhill against the run would help with this issue. They need more talent upfront too. Kyle has been great this year rushing the passer but as expected he can be pushed around at times against the run. I expect DT to be high on the list as well in the offseason. They have plenty of cap space and draft picks to fill a lot of needs.
  9. The age was for McCoy...and 17 million can go a LONG way to filling a lot of holes for this team. His fit is not right for the team IMO. Did I say anything about hoarding cap? He's not the type of team first chemistry player for this team IMO. Plus, you better be getting 3 offensive lineman or 17 million invested in a running back would be a waste.
  10. The guy is playing lights out this season. Good for him. I hope he gets another pro bowl.
  11. Really wasn't a question, more of a dumbfounded remark.
  12. We have so many needs and 17 million for 1 running back is just too much for me. Dude I've been preaching the process since the beginning my man. I don't think a 17 million dollar running back or a 30 something back is a big part of their future.
  13. No way should they bring him in for that kind of money. Absolutely not. McDermott is building team chemistry. This would make no sense for what he is trying to do here and at an incredibly high cost. Running backs are fairly reasonable to find and I think they will want a good one on a rookie contract with Allen. Get some fresh legs in here. A big pass on Bell from me.
  14. And Shady isn't a process player either, only reason they are holding on to him imo is because one would think he helps the rookie this season and we don't have a great second choice at the moment. We will see if he is let go in the offseason.
  15. The man is early in his development still, do we have any patience here?
  16. He doesn't fit at all into the "Process". I don't know how you think he'd fit here. He is the opposite of a "Process" player
  17. He's making some plays in his limited playing time. We have a 4 man rotation at the position at the moment and he's a 3rd round rookie. He's just learning from Kyle and the others this season.
  18. I did say we still needed a number 1 but these guys have stepped up big in their roles. Foster playing the deep threat role and McKenzie the underneath short speed are two huge roles in a modern passing offense that we lacked. Hope they continue to progress.
  19. He played about as well as you can against Jacksonville coming back from an elbow injury. Every QB makes bad throws in the NFL. He didn't let his bad throws hurt his confidence or the rest of his game.
  20. True but Buffalo winning makes it a little more fun.
  21. Well this makes sense. As much as I like Allen and think he is the guy, his short game needs work. He passes better down the field than underneath. Hopefully he can work on this moving into year two.
  22. I only saw maybe two bad throws. Other incompletions were not due to his inaccuracy.
  23. Foster and Mckenzie have been difference makers in these last two games. Would be a massive help if they stuck. Would only need a number 1 in the offseason.
  24. That sums it up well. The stats conversation drives me nuts. Hoping he stays healthy down the stretch. Would love for him to end the season with a winning record, maybe 4-2? High hopes but they are a different offense with him in there. Weapons have appeared lately in Foster and Mckenzie.
