Second half: Week 14 Jets at Bills, 1pm CBS

Richie didn't want to be here. Wood retired, that's hard to come back from in one offseason. There weren't a lot of options. -

What does that have to do with Star? Our starting center is hurt. -

Foster is playing well today. The line is just awful. -

Field position is a massive issue that needs to be addressed in the offseason. -
Who says you need an offensive minded head coach to have a good offense? If you have an offensive coordinator that knows what he's doing, then you are fine. Daboll has shown in the last few weeks that he knows how to use players with the speed of Foster and Mckenzie. Let the man work. We need an injection of talent on that side of the ball that I'm sure we will see this year because of the assets we have. We have a guy who can chuck it now which will open up the playbook. He looks for chunk yardage not a dropdown for 3 yards. The Goff situation isn't that cut and dry. They didn't have the proper weapons and the offensive coordinator was working with a rookie and few weapons...just like Daboll. Tough situation to be in. Sometimes patience is the answer. See how the following season they brought in more talent around him. They built up that offense just like Buffalo could do this offseason with their assets. I know, I'm anxious too but this is the big offseason post rookie season that helped the Rams and the Eagles jumpstart their teams. Hoping for the same here.

They did use Thomas in the fake punt pass. I think they are constantly working things in with these young guys and that will come. For now, I'd rather just have Allen out there. Try and stop him on a 4th and short. My money is on him. He's not afraid, why should we be? -
Noah Fant in round 1

Agreed. He's your receiving tight end. That speed with those hands at that position is tough to guard for any defense. If we are looking to become a top flight offense like they say they want to, you need a tight end that can make plays too. All of the top teams have them. Deep class at wide receiver, could look later in the class. -
BPA. Buffalo has too many holes not to. There's free agency and McBean has shown he is willing to trade. Pick the best players that fit the "Process." Players especially receivers get pushed up after pro days and the combine.

Daboll did call plays for the mobile QBs at Alabama as well. Personally, I am really excited to see what he can do with the next year's roster. Wondering if Daboll changes the team's perspective on the type of wide receivers we should have. Benjamin was far too slow to be successful with Allen. Speed and the ability to separate I think is even more important with a player like Allen who can throw it as fast and as far as he can. Hope we focus on adding speed to that WR core and also at the tight end position. I think TE is a big need as well with Daboll.

I like Metcalf and think he will get a lot of hype leading up to the draft. A lot of WRs to choose from. We need an injection of talent at that position and the draft has a lot. I almost expect a trade for a wide receiver as well. I see McBean doing whatever it takes to make Josh Allen successful in Buffalo. Huge decisions to make this offseason and I think Metcalf would be a good one. However, the depth of the class can help Buffalo. The top talent in this class is on defense. Someone is bound to fall, I could see them taking one of the top defenders 1st and looking at WR in the second or third. It all starts with FA though.

Throw in Roquan Smith and that's one of the MLB classes we've seen. -
Is Vander Eshe to Edmunds the same as Juju to Zay
The Now Moment replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And he's got Big Ben throwing to him and has AB drawing attention on the other side. His situation is comfortable. Zay has had multiple different QBs and two different OCs. No number 1 next to him either. Can't expect him to put up Juju's numbers. Juju wouldn't have done that here with our roster. I think Zay could use some continuity in the QB play. He can't have great chemistry with any of these guys yet. Hopefully, now that Allen has established himself as the starter he can get more locked in with Allen. I think Zay will be fine. -

That's gotta be the definition of a pessimistic way of thinking. -

Edmunds is like 20 or 21. Patience doesn't exist does it. -

Edmunds was always a potential pick. He's not near his ceiling. Way too early to judge. As for Zay, who says he can't improve more going into his third year? Both are talented and still developing. -
I'd like to see Kiko try. Allen isn't shy of dishing out a little action too.

What are you gonna do? The guy looked good in practice at times and in the preseason. They gave him his chances and now he's gone. It'd have been more ridiculous to cut him after his first game. As if a young QB never struggled in his first start before and turned it around. Looking back on it, it looks like an easy decision but Peterman playing well in preseason and being the younger player with a cheaper contract makes trading McCarron a very reasonable decision.
