  1. Big time help there. Let Cincy win the AFC North given their superior AFC record compared to the Browns and Ravens. We are all Bengals fans against Baltimore next week
  2. Of course but we could play a strong game and still lose against Belichick. It's football. Would sure be nice to have a backup route to the postseason where anything can happen.
  3. We need two of the three AFC north teams to finish with 8 losses (sans Pittsburgh, who is toast). This definitely makes that harder to happen
  4. Lofl
  5. I can't believe the Raiders are this pathetic. This is unfortunately the downside to the Colts Pats result. I feel good about the rematch, but we better win on Sunday. Might be curtains otherwise
  6. The Raiders are such losers. Absolutely no way they should be in this position, but...
  7. Not a chance on this one. While he is dangerous, which team will he hurt? He has a repeated history of poor ball security. I like Isaiah and wish we used him more on offense but keep him away from returns, especially punts
  8. I believe someone mentioned this earlier, but now that the Bengals won today we should root for them against Baltimore next week. With a victory, Cincy would be 4-1 in the division and 7-3 in the AFC which would put them in a strong position to win the division (and completes a season sweep of the Ravens). They are the last team of the 3 AFC North foes we want to be competing against for the WC.
  9. I know the rules for the tiebreaker buddy. Care for me to explain them to you?
  10. I agree but unfortunately they might be the least of our concerns and we would still need more help in a 10-7 scenario. What would really be great is if a team like the Chargers would slip up and lose an unthinkable Jags like game, such as at the Texans next week
  11. I hope this doesn't come into play, but if we lose to the Pats it's not enough to say, "Well, the Ravens are on the ropes". The Chiefs, Pats, Colts, Chargers and Titans are virtual locks to get into the postseason. One of the Ravens, Browns, or Bengals will win the AFC North. Of the remaining two, the Bills will most likely need both to get to 8 losses if we finish 10-7 and want to get in as a WC. Our odds are basically a flip of a coin if we don't win out
  12. Cmon man obviously I meant in terms of other games around the AFC
  13. If the Ravens score here, will Harbaugh go for 2 again to win? Wtf are the Pack doing to close this thing out
  14. GB blowing this game would seal the worst case scenario this weekend
  15. Drew Lock is just an ass qb...
  16. And the Broncos are done...
  17. Given the expectations of the team, those odds are almost unfathomable
  18. If this plays out like it looks it will, we will be on the outside looking in with a Browns win against the reeling Raiders tomorrow. Pretty much everything comes down to the game in Foxborough
  19. Agreed. It's great to see the Pats lose, but it is a bit disconcerting to see that the NYT playoff machine has the Bills odds of making the postseason about 12 percent lower with the result. Nonetheless everything is right front of us and our odds are still decent at 78 percent even if we just win the 3 home games. Time for the team to buck up, seize the opportunity, and start playing their best ball when it counts the most.
  20. There's probably not a qb in the league who wouldn't outplay Wentz tonight
  21. Yeah there were a few negative comments. It's weird that Fox has this game as its a big AFC matchup. I will say this, Burkhart and Olsen as Fox's #2 team is much more preferable to me than Buck and Aikman.
  22. He's outstanding. Surprised at some of the hate he's gotten in this thread
  23. You COULD make the argument that a New England win would be better for us. It hurts one of our main WC contenders, and we can still win the division by running the table and having Miami beat the Pats in South Florida week 18. I am not going to make that argument😃
  24. Yes, and there is also the possibility that the Bills could still win the division even if New England beats the Colts. Bills would have to run the table and root for Miami to beat the Pats week 18 in Miami. Not as farfetched as you may think, given how Miami is playing well and always gives New England a game. I think they are 8-8 in the last 16 against them.
  25. That I believe is from the NYT if the Bills just win the 3 home games and lose to the Pats. If the Bills only win 3 games but one of them is against NE, the odds go to >99 % Possibly in which case the Bengals would not be a concern, but who the hell knows how the AFC North is going to turn out. That division will not be decided until late Sunday on the final weekend.
