  1. Happy to hear this. Continuity is great and some of the other rumored candidates were rather uninspiring
  2. Good points. I do give Joe credit for some big time scrambles in the 4th quarter. He definitely is a cool customer with a lot of moxie. But the numbers don't lie between Allen and Burrow. You could point out that Burrow's oline is trash, but does anyone think Allen couldn't operate just as effectively behind it? He also has better receivers, a far better running back, and apparently a much better defense as well. I'm just not ready to the hear the canonization of Joe Burrow and the narrative of "Well, Burrow is 1-0 in the playoffs vs. Mahomes while Allen is 0-2". It's flat out ridiculous. Anybody with 2 functioning eyes can see that Allen is a greater player, at least at this point. And while I don't like KC or Mahomes, I also don't have an irrational hatred of them just because they beat us. They're good, we had our chance, and the coaches blew it. What I really don't want is for Cincy to catch fire and win a SB in basically one try after 30 years of not having a single playoff victory. Anyhow, Go Rams
  3. Because that's how it works with the press. It's started already. Interviews about how Burrow led Cincy to victory, when his defense held KC scoreless 7 of 8 possessions from the end of the first half. I mean, he's obviously a good qb but he hasn't exactly set the world on fire in the playoffs
  4. Yep, and it won't even matter that Allen played far superior to Burrow. The Bills got the L, and the friggin Bengals are in the Super Bowl
  5. This is crazy to me. Cincy fans are pretty bad, always have been. Not the most deserving bunch, despite how awful the Bengals have often been. They finally win a playoff game after 30 years, and now they're all the way in the Super Bowl in the same season? Screw them. They had an inordinate amount of luck, from the whistle td against LV to drawing Ryan Tannehill as the 4 seed
  6. Joe DiBiase on WGR, who I normally like, is having a meltdown now. Apparently Allen and the Bills window is very narrow with this loss. I strongly disagree
  7. I know it sounds dramatic, but stuff like that can lose you a game in a situation where everyone knows a shootout is in the cards. 3 straight plays where Allen doesn't have the ball in his hands. Just horrible
  8. This this this this. Literally a 3 and out in the early 2nd quarter is crucial in games like this
  9. Try top 2 easily
  10. Not enough evidence to suggest this yet. Historically #1 seeds have a much stronger probability of reaching the Super Bowl. I would take the bye every single time
  11. You gotta love the delay on 4th and short with a stacked line. Brilliant!
  12. Exactly, that part is not to be overlooked
  13. It should, but it will also do the same for the Chiefs. Go Bills indeed
  14. You're kidding right? The Bengals offensive line is swiss cheese. He's held the ball too long in field goal range twice, but other than that the sacks are not his fault. Burrow also doesn't force passes. Like Boomer said at halftime, sometimes it is ok to eat the ball. Brady has done it his whole career
  15. Yeah he looks terrible with nearly 300 yards already despite having guys in his face every play. Dude is an outstanding qb
  16. Agree with all of this, and would add red zone scoring, special teams, and turnovers. Typical swing categories for a lot of games, but particularly when you have 2 teams that are as closely matched as these.
  17. Let me just preface this by saying I am not trying to encourage a political discussion in any way. But as it relates to politics and the stadium, it needs to be said that Hochul is leading in polls among her party by a healthy margin and the two perceived strongest downstate opponents, James and DiBlasio, are both not running. Plus, Hochul is from Buffalo. The biggest threat for her will be if she doesn't get a deal done.
  18. They could get rid of Kingsbury, but any replacement would have to be of the same ilk to work with Murray's skill set. The qb and the head coach are basically attached at the hip. I think both these guys are not destined for long, productive NFL careers
  19. Obviously looking wayyyy too far ahead, but if the Bills made it to the Big Dance I almost feel like they will have already faced their toughest competition. The Packers are the only NFC team that scares me. With the Bucs injuries on offense and our improved play, I feel we could handle them in a rematch. The Rams are just meh to me
  20. I'll be honest, as lopsided as this game is the Rams don't really impress me. Stafford is still Stafford and you can move the ball on them. The big thing is controlling their pass rush
  21. Arizona is pathetic man. Murray is not in the same universe as the elite qb's
  22. I got that part, just didn't know what bumping this thread has to do with Diggs or Covid. I thought at first that Dion tested positive again lol
