  1. You may very well be right, but even if Rodgers had followed Hackett to Denver I feel it would've been a disaster. Nate Hackett is flat out unfit to be a head coach in the NFL
  2. Meh Russ may be slipping but the only reason Hackett is even in the NFL, much less head coach, is because of nepotism
  3. Agree his decision making tree was sound. There's no way he could account for Jackson throwing that pick. He should do the same thing next time. The only reason he's catching heat is because the Ravens lost, not because he erred in judgment
  4. The entire Bills defense. Worn down by the ineffectiveness of the offense in the 1st half, playing a formidable opponent. As gutsy a victory on one side of the ball that I can recall. They were amazing from mid 2nd quarter on
  5. Incredible luck. One of the most undeserving Super Bowl teams I can think of. Maybe the 94 Chargers lol
  6. Exactly, and Miami's schedule is cake upcoming. Give me a Bengals win - they don't look like a threat anyway
  7. The crowds for these last 2 Thursday games in Cleveland and Cincinnati have been pathetic. They've been as quiet as a library
  8. Did anyone miss the Patriots game besides Stanley? They were more beat up against the Dolphins a week earlier
  9. I see some of your points, but I keep seeing this line of thinking on the board that if we just beat Miami in Buffalo all will be well. The Dolphins upcoming schedule after Cincinnati is charmin soft and they will be strong favorites in 7 consecutive games. They have also now forced us to probably sweep the Jets and Pats to match their likely 5-1 AFC East record. Then 3rd tiebreakers and beyond enter the equation. It's going to be an uphill battle for the Bills to pull ahead of Miami. I think they will do it, but it won't be easy, especially given the injuries. I think we'll need at least 12 and possibly 13 wins to take the division
  10. I agree. But even if that happens, I easily see a scenario where we split 1-1 and both teams are 5-1 in division. Then it comes down to AFC record, common games, etc. Just pisses me off that the injury luck that befell us today could not have waited one more frickin week
  11. Hope you're right man. Not trying to be an alarmist because I believe in this Bills team. But the loss today means the division race is going to be a dogfight
  12. Well, even if we win the rematch (which I expect), do you see Miami losing to the Jets or Patriots? Just beating Miami in Buffalo will not be enough - we may HAVE to sweep the Jets and Pats just to match Miami's 5-1 division record
  13. Have to agree with you here. The law of averages would dictate we should start winning some of these. It sounds crazy, but its almost like winning comfortably hurts us in big games against tough opponents. We don't seem to be able to finish in difficult situations
  14. You're right of course, but in theory we could be looking at Week 13-15 before we are actually considered first in our division. Obviously the rematch with Miami will be a must win. Also, Miami is now 2-0 in the AFC East which would be the second tiebreaker between us after head to head
  15. Wanted to see what the level of concern is for our Bills after the tough loss in Miami. Regardless of how you view Tua and the Dolphins, it seems likely that they will control 1st place in the AFC East for the foreseeable future. I am as optimistic as any about about our chances this year; however, I think most would agree that reaching our ultimate Super Bowl goal this year will be impacted by our ability to secure the #1 seed in the AFC. Miami's upcoming schedule: @Cin @NYJ Min Pit @Det @Chi Cle Bye Hou With Miami now essentially having a 2 game lead with the tiebreaker, our injury situation, and difficult next 4 games, how confident are you in Buffalo regaining control in the AFC East (and competing in the home field race)? I think today clearly demonstrated we are superior to the Dolphins, but sometimes the best team does not always prevail. Thoughts? Go Bills!
  16. Bill Simmons is awful. The end
  17. Spot on. The Moss obsession needs to end. Did we forget how good Devin was down the stretch last year as the feature back? It would be one thing if they were similar caliber players, but Singletary is miles better
  18. And yet these idiot announcers don't even mention it. That was easy to see. A free 4 points for the Titans
  19. I think this is pretty spot on
  20. How would you like having the illustrious Darnell Mooney and Cole Kmet as your top weapons?
  21. I disagree. The dude has legit game breaking talent but even in his 2nd year Bears management has left him with a jv level supporting cast. They do have a bunch of cap space going forward, so Fields should at least get this year and next. Oh, and I despise Ohio State
  22. I don't even know to be honest. He's called a number of Bills-Dolphins games in the past and the results are usually good, so I wouldn't mind it. Same thing whenever the Bills have a Chris Myers/Moose Johnston Fox game
  23. Doesn't bother me. He really has a punchable face lol. Mainly I'm just glad the Bengals look like crap because they were incredibly lucky to get to the Super Bowl last year
