  1. Pittsburgh is pathetic. 3rd and long and Watt/Highsmith nowhere to be found
  2. He's even slower to recognize coverages
  3. Definite truth here. My response was just based on his performance on the field once he became an established QB with the Oilers
  4. I don't think he was hated but Moon was dismissed some because of playing in a dome on a run and shoot team
  5. I would hate to see it come to that. Hardy may have promise as a returner but was downright dreadful in his decision making during the preseason. It would be a hold your breath type situation. Codrington, as Shaw pointed out, has been solid with ball security. You really don't have to worry about him. I also agree that the first and foremost responsibility of a punt returner is to field the ball cleanly. Anything else is a bonus. I think it would have to be Shakir, and that comes with it's own risks. I've seen Micah Hyde's name thrown around, and while I would definitely trust him, there is no indication whatsoever that he will step foot on a field again.
  6. 7. The results of this season as a whole and today in particular for each of our AFC East rivals have been nothing short of hilarious as a Bills fan
  8. I don't disagree with any of this. I just think his firing points to a larger issue, which is the the entire Browns regime is incompetent and their roster build has been a joke. Even if you give them a mulligan for the epic disaster that is DeShaun Watson, what exactly has Cleveland done right? About the only thing I can think to give them credit for is building a solid offensive line. The rest of their team is littered with holes and a lack of talent. This goes way beyond Dorsey and points to Stefanski, Berry (who should have been fired 2 years ago), and maybe the worst owner in the league in Jimmy Haslam
  9. Not a Dorsey fan at all but not sure what anyone could expect with the injuries and severe lack of game breaking talent he had to work with. Seems like a fall guy for Stefanski and Andrew Berry
  10. So glad having to listen to Herbstreit call a blowout Ohio State game 🙄
  11. That's the way it should be, but... I also look at the Burrow argument, which is absurd on its face when you have 2 #1 receivers. Does anybody remember what the Bengals did last year down the stretch? They went on the same run as they have this year with Jake Browning at QB. I'm not suggesting he is as good as Burrow or that the statistics were as impressive, but Cincy was in an almost identical predicament as in this year and they looked flat out dangerous and went on a hot streak as the season came to a close. Just like 2024, except with a career backup
  12. He had one of those for 4 years and in that time produced at a record setting level. Now that player has been removed and Allen has still maintained his productivity. Am I to believe that the inherent bias that seems to exist against Allen will dissipate in the future if he is denied this year, especially when his rushing prowess may decline?
  13. Outside of a few penalties the dude has been a complete animal. Brown was so up and down his first 3 years. It seems like he has really figured it out and is on the verge of becoming one of the truly elite RT's.
  14. I'd like to see Zach Davidson get some play and staple Kincaid/Knox to the bench
  15. This debate is absolutely toxic, and I fully admit that I have become too invested in the outcome. I just don't understand how statistical arguments are all of a sudden the most important this year; but even more so, I am dumbfounded that Jackson's stats in particular are being portrayed as so far superior to Allen's as though they are in different universes, like Lamar having 1500 more yards and 20 more TD's. The stats are really, really close, and if Lamar has a slight edge in the traditional stats, Allen certainly leads in many advanced metrics. To me, MVP means exactly as it says, and no man is more essential to his team's success or failure than Josh. I truly believe that if Allen doesn't secure the MVP this year he will never win one in his career.
  16. Me, if it's not in September. The game in 2017 (McD's 2nd as coach) was brutally hot. 93 degrees with the sun beating down on you because there is no shade in Bank of America stadium. It was miserable
  17. Agree with that. He has clicked with O'Connell. JJ McCarthy is not someone I would be pushing my chips in on The Dolphins absolutely blow. Self inflicted wounds over and over
  18. Tyrel Dodson trying to help Buffalo out. It's really weird rooting for Miami
  19. Um, I think Daboll was a goner regardless of today's outcome. I'll tell you who should be fired - the Colts DC for letting the friggin Giants and Drew Lock score damn near 50 points in a must win game. Horrendous
  20. I'm not convinced that the Chiefs are going to be resting all their guys. Having 2 weeks off for everyone may be a disadvantage, plus there is always the added incentive of screwing your division rival out of a playoff spot. It's hard to believe and I've been downplaying it for weeks, but Cincinnati is getting closer and closer to the 7th seed. Every single thing they've needed has happened.
  21. Poor Rich Camarillo, I remember that game clearly. Of course, the wind giveth and taketh away in Buffalo. The following year in 1991 Shawn McCarthy of the Patriots had a 93 yard punt that I don't think will ever be replicated. It was the longest kick since the NFL-AFL merger lol
  22. We'll just have to disagree on that. Teams aren't coming into a matchup with the Bills fearful of Cook or designing defensive game plans around stopping him. He is a good player no doubt, but his impact on the field is not close to Henry's and the numbers bear that out. He also isn't capable of carrying the heavy workload that Henry is, which makes him less integral to the functioning of the offense and the ability for the quarterback to do his job
  23. Cook is nowhere the near the level of Henry though, and he has barely half the rushing yardage. To act like they're similarly impactful players is ridiculous imo
  24. Not a chance. Have you seen the Chargers offense? They can't score, which is not going to fly against Baltimore. Lately the Chargers defense looks highly vulnerable as well. I give Los Angeles no chance of beating the Ravens. They just don't have the horses
