  1. Considering how tight lipped the Bills are when it comes to these things and how they typically get done out of nowhere, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills made it known they don't want their interest getting out. It looked to me like he wanted to say other teams but refrained from doing it. I wouldn't say the Bills are out
  2. I called this guy out on his BS last night and he blocked me
  3. That is true. But another part of me thinks the Bills want Hopkins for no more than a 5th also. I could be wrong.
  4. Bills front office: "we can get dhop for a 3rd" Beane: "nah, too valuable. Just forget it"
  5. I do think Hopkins is getting traded this offseason. I do think the Cardinals price is gonna come down. And I don't think the list is very long. So I still think we have good odds to make this happen. The reports about the Falcons, Raiders and Patriots don't make any sense. Not saying that they aren't interested but now that Hopkins has been given permission from the Cardinals to talk contract with other teams, I can't see Dhop wanting anything to do with those teams. In the end I think it does come down to us and KC. So we will see
  6. I agree. He's probably got his legs up on his desk eating a can of Pringles every day. McDermott walked in to him last week and said "hey, how about calling the Cardinals about Hopkins?" Beane said "who? I never heard of him. But here, can you take this $2 and run down to the vending machine and get me a Twix? I'm reading a good article about fixing the siding on my house right now". Get rid of him
  7. So barring we actually trade for him, we're not trading for him. Got it
  8. Yesterday the Cardinals gave permission to DeAndre to negotiate a contract with other teams. It should be a little easier now than earlier. That kinda tells me that they will come down on their price
  9. I never really fully believed him. But now he basically confirmed he's full of it
  10. Erie County Bulls specifically said yesterday that the Bills were still the front runners. Now he is backing off of it. Go figure
  11. I don't know why media people even ask Beane these questions. Did they really think he would say otherwise?
  12. Why can't the Chiefs just f*cking go away?
  13. I mean, Beane isn't gonna say "yeah, we're talking contract with him right now as we speak. Should have him soon"
  14. I don't know if I will read too much into what Beane says. I'm sure he doesn't want to get too much into it right now
  15. Why didn't Erie County Bulls tell us about this?
  16. Why do you care about a small rebuild 5 years from now if we get Dhop now and win a Super Bowl or 2 in a 3 year window of having him. Yes, we will understand the ramifications of what it will mean on the cap 5 years down the road. But I'd still take that chance with Dhop for a couple years than some unknown rookie. So, when someone says "is dhop our missing piece?". He damn well could be. But I'd rather find that out than drafting an unknown Once again, no one is saying that there is a certainty. And 2, of we pass on dhop, go the draft route and still don't win anything, is that worse 5 years down the road than going for Dhop now and at least giving us that better chance now and at least say we tried 5 years from now? Give me Dhop and take the chance
  17. No one is saying it guarantees us a Super bowl. But you can't convince me that settling for an unknown in the draft route will do so either. I will say I think Dhop gives us a much better chance at a Super Bowl than not having one. Anyone should be able to agree with that
  18. Is a drafted rookie the missing piece? Also, if Dhop gets us there and we win it, do you care about cap ramifications 5 years from now?
  19. Give me Dhop and a Super Bowl Chance now. Worry about the rebuild and ramifications later. People that bring up cap don't understand. If we won a Super Bowl this year or next or both, would any of you really give a sh*t about a small rebuild in 5 years? Come on
  20. We know what it's about. It still doesn't change anything lol
  21. I understand we may have to rebuild slightly in 5 years or so but if paying for Hopkins gets you a Super Bowl this year or next, it would ease the burden of the small rebuild. Allen would still be here as well, we wouldn't be completely out of him with him anyway
  22. It's not your money. Don't worry about it lol
  23. They wouldn't have to do that just by adding a couple years onto players contracts. Add a year on Hyde's deal and resign DaQuan Jones to a 2 year extension and those right there would be better than restructuring Got it for you right here
  24. I'm not sure why we haven't added a year onto Hyde's deal. It makes so much sense. And then resign DaQuan to an extra 2 years or so. That will add more cap space without even having to restructure another deal and then find a way to part with Oliver
