I didn't misinterpret anything. I was specifically referring to you calling Hopkins worthless. It had nothing to do with McDermott

Ertz has played well for the Cardinals. Not like he had in years past. But he had some productive Cardinals games. Hopkins is 30, doesn't even turn 31 until right before the season starts and you're trying to make him out to be some over the hill WR. He's far from it. Yes, the last 2 seasons he hasn't really played much, that doesn't mean it would carry over into this season and if he could do what he did in 9 games with the Cardinals last year, imagine what he can do with Diggs on the other side with even 10 games next year, I would still take that. I was more responding back to your post about dissing Hopkins about a page or so ago and all the other stuff I read. I didn't see anything you said about McDermott. So I can't comment on that

You always have negative remarks about most things and when the Bills are linked to good players Ertz, McCaffrey, Hopkins, all you do is talk about how garbage they are. As I explained to you before, Hopkins in 9 games last year with 3 different QBs, two of which consisted of Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley, had 700 yards receiving on 64 catches, which means he was on pace for over 120 catches and 1400 yards in a full season and you think he's washed. Ertz, while not elite anymore is still very productive. You wanted no part of him coming here because you thought he was washed. McCaffrey top 5 RB and possibly the most dynamic in the league, he's "overrated". Your takes are ridiculous and you go out of your way to trash on any productive/elite player to add to the roster. You also have a lot of smart remarks to other people's posts. Like nothing good ever comes from you

I actually feel better after rewatching that video. I thought Beane said "we've only done 1% of what's reported" what he said was "sometimes" "we have done 1% of what's reported." Which means he's speaking in general with any player, not just Hopkins. Now nothing in that video makes me think we still won't keep trying. I just have a hard time believing ALL that interest was something that was just a phone call. All the people that reported it and made it definitive that we are interested, that stuff doesn't just come out of nowhere. We will see what happens

Considering how tight lipped the Bills are when it comes to these things and how they typically get done out of nowhere, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills made it known they don't want their interest getting out. It looked to me like he wanted to say other teams but refrained from doing it. I wouldn't say the Bills are out

I do think Hopkins is getting traded this offseason. I do think the Cardinals price is gonna come down. And I don't think the list is very long. So I still think we have good odds to make this happen. The reports about the Falcons, Raiders and Patriots don't make any sense. Not saying that they aren't interested but now that Hopkins has been given permission from the Cardinals to talk contract with other teams, I can't see Dhop wanting anything to do with those teams. In the end I think it does come down to us and KC. So we will see

Yesterday the Cardinals gave permission to DeAndre to negotiate a contract with other teams. It should be a little easier now than earlier. That kinda tells me that they will come down on their price
