  1. He didn't make the Super Bowl as a rookie. It was his second year. No rookie QB has ever made a Super Bowl. Jayden Daniels would be the first ever if he goes
  2. You see the team in front of them that's getting the 1 seed, right? We even beat the Chiefs head to head in the regular season to claim it from them and still didn't get it because they kept winning
  3. Yes, and have you noticed they have made changes on the type of defense they have played this season? It's not just zone all the time anymore.
  4. Again, they got 88 with the Bills having an 8 point lead and the Ravens needing a TD and a 2 point conversion just to tie it. If they have to go 99 down 5, there is no way McDermott and Babich aren't bringing more heat. They wouldn't be just rushing 3 and dropping everyone in coverage
  5. I think they would have played differently defensively if they had to go 99. For instance, on the Lamar TD pass to bring it within 2, the Bills only rushed 3. If they only had a 5 point lead instead of an 8 point lead, I think they play that completely differently
  6. I want to be wrong but I just don't see this happening. Unfortunately people have been saying this about the Chiefs all season long and yet here they are. I listened to Bulldog on WGR say since at least the middle of the season that the Chiefs would lose their first playoff game. Yet, they win 15 games, they get a bye and win their first playoff game. They have gotten lucky all season. And people say every week that it's gonna run out. Again, here they are. I'll believe it when I see it
  7. This is an assumption. My post is supposed to prove that the way those 3 games finished are no different than all their other games through out the season. Rashee Rice made no difference and they have won not having him since week 4. He doesn't matter. If they lost 6 games this year. Yes, you can make that argument. Winning 15 games and making the conference championship game is not a way to make that argument
  8. And yet, it took a foot size too big shoe from Isaiah Likely, a bad PI call against the Bengals and a late no PI call against the Falcons their first 3 games to win those games. They didn't do anything anymore spectacular than they have done all season
  9. The sad part is this is something I can definitely see happening
  10. It wouldn't matter to me because their offense wasn't all that much better when he played the first 4 games. They still struggled to win games Don't you think Hollywood Brown is good enough to be their WR 1?
  11. They have beaten good teams all season. Why would the fact this game has "playoff" in front of it matter as far as a guy that hasn't played since week 4 would have any impact? They were finding ways to win in the 4 games Rice played lol. They still never scored 30 points in the 4 games he played
  12. I don't see why he should be counted when he hasn't played since week 4 and it's made no difference in the outcome of their season. They still won 15 games and made the AFC Championship game. I wouldn't even bring Rice up at this point
  13. I don't think them missing Rashee Rice means anything. They have been missing him all season and it hasn't changed anything. The Chiefs are fully healthy for this game. They shouldn't be missing anyone
  14. So, Rapp out and Benford possibly out so we have to rely on Bishop and who? JaMarcus Ingram or Kaiir Elam this week? It was fun while it lasted
  15. So, I just tried this and the very first song on random was "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz. I shut if off and will no longer be listening to anymore playlists
  16. For me it was 1993 that I started following them. I can still tell people the scores to some of those games without even looking it up because I was so embedded in them by then. I've been hooked ever since that season opener against the Patriots that season
  17. The partying and the Bills unwillingness to change to what the Giants were doing also had a factor in it
  18. I was 7. That Super Bowl was the first Super Bowl I ever remember watching in full. I have vague memories from the year before. But I'm 38 now. A 31 year gap is big enough. Let's do this
  19. Can we stop with these threads please? Let's talk about the game this week first before even thinking about this.
  20. Exactly, which is why I say leaving one person on his is a mistake. People don't understand that
  21. I still think not doubling him is a mistake that you are seriously underestimating
  22. The dude had like 7 catches for over 100 yards and a TD last week against the Texans. He is still Mahomes go to guy
  23. It's just the offense. There is no main guy
  24. I feel like people severely underestimated this team. And it sounds like a lot of the fans here believe the media talk that they were saying before the season that we weren't very good. We scored 30+ points in 13 games and 5 of them we scored over 40. We have won 15 games counting the playoffs and somehow people are content because "we made it farther than the media talking head expected?" This team is good. Very good. And we have the ability to win it all. We just have to get to the dance. I feel like the way some fans here are talking that we overachieved. We have not
  25. I do agree that we were very conservative and it almost killed us but after rewatching on the NFL network just a little bit ago, the playcalling wasn't as bad as I thought, though it still could have been better. It was pretty much like a "kill them with a thousand papercuts" game plan. That offensive drive after Bernard knocked the ball loose from Andrews was very methodical. It died inside the 5 because it got way too conservative. But until the 5 yard line, it was actually executed quite well. We got yards in very small chunks. But it worked
