If we had been hitting on first round picks to this point, I would agree with you 100% but Beane's track record and drafting what could very well be another mediocre at best player next year with another first round pick is just dumb if you can get a guy like BTJ in here. We could draft a guy in the first round that turns out to be a head case. But which one do you think Beane would catch flack for? I would say the unproven hesd case which still may not be very good as opposed to a guy like BTJ just maybe needs a change of scenery

1. Go back to a 15 minute OT. The 10 minute OT is beyond stupid and makes no sense 2. Eliminate the onside kick and after a score, give the team the option to do a 4th and 15 from the from the 25 or 30 yard line. You get one down to get 15 yards. If you don't get it, the other team takes over where you miss. 3. If the onside kick is kept, allow teams to do surprise onside kicks again. Having to declare and not be able to catch the opposing team off guard is stupid 4. Be able to challenge face masking penalties. Either he grabbed the face mask or he didn't. No need to reward a team 15 yards when a simple replay can confirm whether the face mask happened or not

Do you think he had a lot of time to throw? The oline was horrendous. Yeah, he didn't play great but him having 6 guys in his face every play didn't help
