McDermott: What can get us past the Chiefs in the playoffs Beane: Darrynton Evans, baby. Darrynton Evans
-
You do realize this isn't even close to the same argument, right? Everyone knows we will make the playoffs this year and only the "experts" truly thought the Bills wouldn't be any good last year. A FACT is our D line was not all the great last year and hasn't been for years. And you are basically saying we should rely on a team that doesn't draft DL talent well and with a late round 1 pick, that everything should he fine? The odds of finding that isn't great.
-
No one said that man lol
-
I understand that. But I'm actually talking about a KNOWN difference maker. Not 1 or 2 possible boom or bust players from the draft on a team that doesn't seem to understand how to identify DL talent very well
-
We are gonna roll into the season with what we already have on the defensive line, aren't we?
-
Who? Oh, that guy
-
Isn't it funny how the mediocre players don't ever care about the weather?
-
Video?

I understand that. But even some of the best rookies don't start to come into form until year 2 and sometimes even year 3. A move like Garrett or Metcalf or the guy from Cincinnati can possibly be good enough, along with a solid draft class to get us there. You seem teams upgrade all the time. Look at the Eagles, they went and got Barkley. They have been one of the best drafting teams in the league for years

We are a superbowl contending team that would benefit from reeling a big fish through trade. And even when we are good, we are still having trouble because of money or weather. I can understand if we were bad like the drought. But if we can't get guys here by trade now because of money or weather or because players wanna play with their friends like Adams, what's it gonna take?
-
We just can't catch a break with these types of things. Outside of Diggs. Antonio Brown didn't want to come here, Davante Adams wants to play with Rodgers, DHop cared more about money and chose to be traded to the Titans over the Bills to make more money, Myles Garrett decides he'd rather stay for a bad Cleveland team because of money. Now DK Metcalf doesn't want to play in cold weather. It's kinda stupid with some of these players "How about playing with Josh Allen and win a Super Bowl?" High profile players: "Nah, I want warmer weather and more money but good luck to you" Lol. It's a joke

I don't know. I still think Tom Brady was the one guy that gave father time it's only loss

Bills look for debt waiver as stadium costs rise

And once again......money talks -
Yes, 6 prime time games is the limit. And those are night games, not 4:25 games

This sounds like an episode of "Love It Or List It". Is Hillary building the stadium and now she needs more money for the budget? -
Just a thought, now keep in mind this for a backup QB. What would everyone think about Justin Fields? I think if God forbid Allen had to miss a game or 2, Fields would be someone you don't have to entirely change the offense for and has had really good moments at times. It's hard for anyone to really say with any certainty that the Bears didn't hinder his development like they do with all of their QBs. I know he got beat out by Russell Wilson in Pittsburgh but again, another team that has been bad offensively for about the last 5 years under Tomlin. I would take a flyer

I really wish Aj Brown didn't touch his facemask, though because of course every Chiefs fan is gonna bring that up instead of the terrible call -

They are farking not -
Yout can take McNabb out of the equation. Andy Reid went 50-26 with Alex Smith and had 4 playoff years and out 5 years with him. I think we can all agree that is an accomplishment. On the flip side Belichick had Kosar who was good, Testaverde and Bledsoe who was good/decent before Brady and did nothing with them. Alex Smith wasn't much better than all 3 of those guys and Andy Reid got everything he could out of him
-
1989 the Browns make it to the AFC Championship game 1991 (2 years later with a lot of the same players and with Bernie Kosar as QB. A guy that Cleveland fans loved and had a lot of succes with) Bill Belichick takes over as head coach and has 4 losing seasons out of 5. Those teams were not that bad When he took over in NE. He already had guys like Bledsoe, Willie McGinest, Ty Law, Ted Bruschi, Lawyer Malloy and he went 5-11 His first year. The next year (with Bledsoe) he starts 0-2. So, his first 18 games with the Patriots he was 5-13. Bledsoe got hurt, Brady came in and the rest is history. Here's stat for you on the The 08 Patriots which was the year after their 16-0 season and the year Brady went down in week 1. The Patriots went 11-5 that season. 9 of the 11 teams they beat that season had losing records. 2 of those wins were against the Bills twice. The only 2 teams with winning records they beat that year went no better than 9-7. That was the Jets once and the Cardinals in a blizzard in NE. Wanna know the funny part? 4 out of their 5 losses were against teams with WINNING records. They even got smashed the 8-8 Chargers. So let's put the two together. 9 out of 11 wins were to teams with losing records and their 2 wins were against teams that did no better than 9-7. The better teams they played with more than 9 wins they went 0-4 and then got blasted by the 8-8 Chargers. So, let's nit act like what he did that season was some sort of major accomplishment. And then of course is his career post Brady where he had one fluke season with Mac Jones where they started 7-3 and beat up on bad teams and had one win against the Bills in a tornado. And they went 3-4 after that and then got smoked by the Bills in the playoffs. Belichick has always been and will always be nothing without Brady. Brady took a Buccs team on a 12 year playoff drought to a Super Bowl and won it in his first year there. Belichick has failed every which way without Brady. Plain and simple. He is the most overrated head coach of all time and Andy Reid is far better
-
Andy Reid is better than Belichick. Belichick was in Cleveland for 5 years. You realize that, right? He had ONE and I'll say it again for the people in the back ONE winning season out of those 5 in Cleveland. His records in Cleveland (without Brady) 6-10 7-9 7-9 11-5 playoffs 5-11 His records in NE (without Brady) 5-11 11-5 7-9 10-7 (playoffs) 8-9 4-13 Now as for Andy Reid (without Mahomes) 5-11 11-5 (playoffs) 11-5 (playoffs) 12-4 (playoffs) 12-4 (playoffs) 13-3 (Super Bowl loss) 6-10 10-6 (playoffs) 8-8 9-6-1 (playoffs) 11-5 (playoffs) 10-6 (playoffs) 8-8 4-12 11-5 (playoffs with Alex Smith) 9-7 11-5 (playoffs with Alex Smith) 12-4 (playoffs with Alex Smith) 10-6 (playoffs with Alex Smith) And then he got Mahomes. It's clear as day to see that Reid had far more success with a lot less at QB than Belichick did. You're literally trying to use ONE winning season out of 5 in Cleveland and ONE fluke season with Mac Jones to prove your point. He has 2 OUT OF 11 seasons WITHOUT BRADY that he made the playoffs. Plain and simple. He is not even average without Brady. Reid WITHOUT MAHOMES had 11 OUT OF 17 seasons that he made the playoffs. 4 of those with Alex Smith who was nothing more than Mediocre his entire career. And he went to 5 Championship games and to a Super Bowl with Philly. He is the far better coach Brady without Belichick in his career is 84-101 Reid without Mahomes is 92-49-1 with McNabb 50-26 with Alex Smith It's not even close that Reid is the better coach
