Chiefs trade Alex Smith to washington
Buffalo03 replied to Castellar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you're wrong here. We won 9 games with what we had. We easily get about 2 extra wins with Cousins -
Have you ever been less excited for a SB?

The Patriots vs Seahawks Super Bowl has probably been the Super Bowl I've cared the least for so far but this one is up there as well -

My gut tells me it's Charles Clay. He would be a game changing tight end if we had a damn QB. I do think Clay would be a big loss if we were going after someone like Alex Smith -
Pats create PI when they are losing

I honestly don't think that would be an issue. Those 15 yard penalties will add up to -
Pats create PI when they are losing
Buffalo03 replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is all the more reason why I don't like defensive PI being a spot foul. Just throw it up 50 yards down the field into double coverage and get the penalty. Do the college rule 15 yards. It works fine in college why wouldn't it work fine in the nfl -
Why doesn't the NFL change Defensive PI to 15 yards?
Buffalo03 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've always said that PI should be just 15 yards like it is in college. If they keep it a spot foul then it should be challengable. -
All we have to do now is find someone to throw Daboll and we'll be in business

I commented in the Pats vs Titans game post how Ron Torbert the head referee in that game, is the Vice President of the legal team for Barton Malow which is the company that was the project manager in the building of Gillette Stadium. This means that Robert Kraft paid this company money which Ron Torbert has a Vice President title to to have Gillette Stadium built. Some people didn't believe me or thought there was no way it could be true. I have posted the two links below, one that shows he is Vice President if you scroll down a bit and the other is a wikipedia page for Gillette Stadium which shows Barton Malow as project manager. This is a clear conflict of interest if you ask me. I don't know how this guy could be allowed to ref a Pats game much less a Pats playoff game http://www.bartonmalow.com/voices/2014-vice-president-promotions https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gillette_Stadium

Look up who built Gillette stadium. It's Barton Malow, the company that he is Vice President of their legal department for -

Does everyone here know that Ron Torbert the head referee in this game is the president of the company that built Gillette Stadium? That's right, the head ref is the president of the company that Robert Kraft paid money to to build his stadium. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is a clear conflict of interest -
I would not let Clay go. He is a competent QB away from being a top 10 tight end

How about Jim Bob Cooter if he isn't retained by Detroit?

Anyone know?

Lets just go for Kirk Cousins in the offseason
Buffalo03 replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand you didn't bring up Brees and Rivers but I don't know how you can say it's completely irrelevent to bring them up when your saying that Cousins went 7-9 in a down year in his division as if the 7-9 record is a reason to not bring him on board. I brought up Brees and Rivers to say that the 7-9 argument is stupid when Brees and Rivers haven't done much better the past few seasons either yet they put up much better stats than he did. The entire AFC West had a down year to but Philip Rivers, who's much better wasn't able to do any better than 9-7 and second place in his division. -

The point I'm trying to make is you were basically trying to say that with Cousins the Redskins went 7-9 like it was completely his fault that that happened. You're right, Cousins isn't in Brees's or Philip Rivers class but that just makes your argument even dumber because they are better QBs yet they haven't made the playoffs in the past few years as well, yet I'm willing to bet you would take either one of them on our team. Cousins is better than Tyrod. He can make throws that Tyrod can only dream of making. There is just no point in saying that one of the reasons we shouldn't go after Cousins is because the Redskins went 7-9 with him. -

I'm so tired of people bringing this point up. They act like the QB is the whole team. The Redskins don't have the best defense in the world and don't really have the best coaching staff. I mean how good is Jay Gruden really? Cousins has actually lost some talent this past season. Pierre Garcon left, DeSean Jackson left, Jordan Reed missed majority of the season and he hasn't really had a running game to take take the pressure off. Drew Brees and the Saints have been mediocre the past few seasons until this season going 7-9 and 8-8 a few times but Brees has always put up pro bowl numbers. The Saints have finally fixed their D which is why they have been more successful this season not to mention their running game has been better than in years past as well. When was the last time the Chargers made the playoffs? Yet they have a borderline HOF QB in Philip Rivers. It's not Cousins why the Redskins are a mediocre team. Cousins is worlds better than Tyrod -
Anyone else think he looks like Herman Munster?
