  1. Number 1 priority if I'm head coach, put 9 in the box every single play to stop Zeke. Let Dak beat you. Tre can take away Cooper but I'm still 100% focusing on Zeke. If we contain Zeke then I think we win
  2. This game should get flexed to Sunday night. The Rams vs Seahawks doesn't look anywhere near as appealing. The Rams are obviously having issues. The Bills are gonna be at worst 8-4 going in and the Ravens at worst 9-3. That should be the game to move
  3. I hate the way the NFL puts so much emphasis on the market for their Primetime games. I don't watch Sunday Night Football because its the Seahawks and Rams or the Cowboys and whoever. I watch it because its football. I don't care who's playing and I honestly don't think most fans do either. I'm tired of seeing the same teams play Primetime night games 4 or 5 times a season. That's actually worse in my opinion. Look at the Bears, they get multiple Primetime games a year and every time I think about watching Mitch Trubisky, I cringe
  4. I still would rather have the Ravens game be the Sunday nighter. The Bills possibly being 9-3 and the Ravens possibly being 10-2. I don't see how that isn't the game of the week.
  5. Great, let's sign him to get some insider information. Oh wait....that was last week. Nevermind
  6. I do think no matter little league team is out there that we will dominate them. High school on up? I'm not so sure
  7. I think it's possible our week 15 game against the Steelers could be flexed depending on where the Steelers are at that point. Right now they currently have Vikings at Chargers but the Chargers will more than likely be out of it by that point. The only two other games I can see them flexing that week are Seahawks vs Panthers or Bears at Packers. The Rams and Cowboys play that week but the Cowboys would have reached their 5 primetime game limit by then having already had 4 and I believe they still have a Thursday night game coming up after Thanksgiving. I don't see what market size has to do with it. It's the NFL, people are gonna watch. I watch every week regardless. I don't watch because the Cowboys are playing.
  8. Does that include the Ravens?
  9. If there was ever a journeyman QB hall of fame. He is first ballot for sure. He might be the best journeyman that I've seen. I can't think of another
  10. As happy as I am with the fact that we are 6-2 and won today, Dabolls play calling until the 5:00 mark of the 4th quarter nearly lost this game. I'm not sure why it took so long for him to open it up
  11. How do we know that he wasn't trying to trade for a player but just didn't like compensation? To say that he didn't make a trade because he doesn't think we're ready is an assumption. Who sits back at 5-2 with a real shot at making a strong playoff run and says "we're not ready for this?" He did it in 2017 and we were in no different shape than we are now. I would say the fact he made no trades means nothing
  12. I hope to God he asks Daboll to remove the designed QB runs or whatever the play is called that Allen fumbled on yesterday. I've seen enough of that play
  13. It's not exactly close but it's not a "blowout"
  14. It is 3 scores yes, but I wouldn't say we got blown out losing 17-0. To me 4 or 5 scores is a blowout. Like when we lost by 37 to the Saints in 2017, or losing by 30 the next week to the Chargers or the 44 point loss we had to the Ravens in the season opener last year. 31-13 isn't a blowout
  15. If we lost 17-0, would that be a blowout?
  16. First off, I don't know if one loss requires "righting the ship" Secondly, I wouldn't call an 18 points loss a blowout
  17. This is probably why McDermott chose to receive the ball because he knew we would have the wind in the 4th
  18. Or to the guy in the front row
  19. I wanna say maybe the Jordan Poyer pick 6 on Brady in New England in 2017?
  20. There haven't been that many number 1 pick QBs that have won a SB. I get what you're saying. But that's not the way that NFL teams see it. They know that a franchise QB is the most important player on the field. They know in order to get one that they will more than likely have to draft for one. They know the best way to get the guy they want is to get the number 1 pick. They know the way to get that pick is to tank the season. Getting the guy they want 1st overall doesn't guarantee a SB win but you better believe they are gonna want to take the chance and the answer to your other question, their backup QB was Curtis Painter and I think Jim Sorgi? My point in brought up in my last post was they made no effort to get a better QB at all. They saw an opportunity to get the successor to Peyton and took it. Look at what the Dolphins did a few years ago when Tannehill went down, they went as far as getting Jay Cutler out of retirement to keep their season alive. The Colts never attempted that at all
  21. Manning missed the whole whole season but there's no way if you watched that team that you could say they weren't tanking. This was a team that went to the playoffs every year with Manning under center and he misses one year and they only win 2 games? I would believe that if they were a 7-9 team but 2-14? That's not because they lost Manning, it's because they saw an opportunity to draft what at time considered a once in a generation QB coming out of college the following year and they knew what they had to do. If they weren't tanking they could have easily traded for a halfway decent competent QB to try to at least be average until Manning returned but they chose not to. It was cleared to see when you watched them play.
  22. Sanders and Sanu aren't all pros. I honestly don't think either one of them would have made an impact here. We have a couple of Sanders's here already. We don't need another. And Sanu isn't a game changer. He'll be good in NE playing with Brady. Howard Simon said on the morning show yesterday that to him Sanu is like a Robert Woods type. I agree with that. A Robert Woods type doesn't really help us much. I'm fine that we didn't go after either
  23. How about Keenan Allen instead?
  24. You haven't been seeing the people on here talking about how they're thinking we can take the division because the Pats schedule gets tougher down the road? They aren't losing any more than 2 games. The division isn't happening for us
  25. Can we stop with this pipe dream of taking the division now? Unless we go 15-1 or 14-2 it is not happening. We're getting 5th place at best
