  1. The reason why he was doing it was because you could see early on that the offensive line was having issues with pass protection so he was simply moving people around and substituting people in and out to find the right combination.
  2. What does everyone think? Big Ted #1? I really enjoyed watching this
  3. Sounds like they are about to bring in Alex Boone, Jahri Evans and Eric Winston for offensive line help. There's the 3 spots lol
  4. Jahri Evans and Alex Boone
  5. He only gave up 2 sacks last year with the Packers
  6. I don't think he retired. He was listed on a thing I saw earlier in the top 50 free agents available
  7. Why he hasn't been brought in yet is beyond me
  8. He may be 35 but he has been a pro bowler in the past and had a decent season with the packers last year. Why not bring him in on a one year deal? How much worse can he be?
  9. All these people are flipping their lids over preseason. Can we see how the regular season starts first?
  10. http://nfltraderumors.co/top-2018-nfl-free-agents-list/ According to this we may still have a shot at Jahri Evans. He may be 35 but should be good for this season at least. Also, what about Alex Boone?
  11. I seriously think the olineman we have just aren't giving enough effort because it's preseason. People were saying the same thing last year and lots have been saying it year after year bur then when we got to the regular season it's nowhere near as bad as it looks. I think people are more overreacting than anything. Charles Clay has been a good tight end for us and today he drops a couple passes and people are talking about how horrible he is. Other people saying "this D is terrible". It's the same damn defense as last year give or take a few new bodies. Someone actually posted something earlier about how bad Brandon Beane is because he's given away a lot of our talent. Now granted, he has pretty much neglected the oline but calm down. Every year we hear " it's gonna be a ling season behind this oline" and every year it's not as bad as it looked in the preseason. Let's just see what happens when the season starts first
  12. I honestly just don't think either the offense or defense is giving full effort because of it being preseason
  13. Bottom line, this is all Doug Whaley's fault. He could be on our team already
  14. Well yeah, everyone knows that. Basically, he would be making Josh Allen QB money until Josh Allen himself makes QB money so really it evens out. You can have the best defensive player in the league for at least the next 4 or 5 seasons and then if Allen pans out and we have to pay him then you decide what to do with Mack at that point
  15. Yeah, Mack is on the fifth year option but Allen isn't making much money right now. The fact that Mack is on the 5th year option doesn't really mean anything. Since Allen is on his rookie deal, it wouldn't matter if we're paying Mack a lot this season or any of the next 3 seasons after this because Allen is gonna be making next to nothing for the first 4 years of his contract and we have a boatload of cap space starting next season
  16. And now is the best time to trade for him since Allen is on his rookie deal
  17. I honestly don't believe Peterman is gonna be starting. The rookie will start. Also, what if Allen breaks out? Not saying it will happen but it's certainly not off the table. I also think we have the chance at a potential top 5 to top 10 defense this year that will keep us in games. If our offense is better than last year which is a possibility, then our pick next year definitely won't be a top 10
  18. Why does everyone keep assuming our first round pick next year is gonna be a top 5 or top 10? Also even if it is, yes Khalil Mack is worth it
  19. Look at Belicheat, that guy gives out the least info of any coach in the league. He gets asked about injured players but instead just says "I'm focused on this week". McDermott is basically doing the same thing
  20. I'm sorry that I've seen enough of crappy to mediocre QBs over the last 15 or so years and would like to see the future now rather than later. There have been plenty of QBs that have started right out of the gate and had great careers and sure some not so much but sure maybe Ryan Leaf would have been a hall of famer if he would have just sat a year or two, I mean hey you never know (sarcasm of course). A bad oline isn't gonna halt his development, all that is gonna halt his development is his grasp of the game. That's what makes or breaks QBs. I'm not delusional. It's better to get him out there and give him a taste of the game now than later. You're delusional if you think we're rebuilding after a playoff season lol
  21. Just start him. He might get hurt this season but what are the odds he will get a career ending injury? I refuse to watch Nathan Peterman
  22. Dawkins was solid last year. You mean to tell me he forgot how to play in one season? It's preseason and his job is locked up. Not worried about Dawkins at all
