Why only 4 years though? Usually teams give their star players 5 or 6 year deals. And does that 4 years count the one year he already had left on his deal plus the 5th year option we picked up? Because that woukd technically only make it a 2 year extension

First team all pro? I don't think he was that good. It was clarified for me that he did in fact make 2 pro bowls but I'm pretty sure that he was an alternate for one of them. Bottom line, outside of Jake Locker and Blaine Gabbert Dareus was the last one to make a pro bowl "on his own" and not as an alternate compared to everyone else who had already made one by themselves through their first 2 years in the league

Did Dareus ever go to a pro bowl? I'm pretty sure for the longest time that Dareus, Jake Locker and Blaine Gabbert were the only 3 from the top 11 of thay draft class that didn't make a pro bowl or Dareus was the last one of that group to make it

I kinda hope when it comes time to sign Beane that Kim will be willing to give him her president title. That way Beane can be the GM/President. That would not really allow another team to come in and offer him the title at a later point if we were to be doing really well. The Colts were able to snag Polian from the Panthers because they gave him the president title along with GM

Well considering those players would be making less for one season than some of the average americans make in this country for one year, I don't think it would be a big issue. They can adjust a guys salary by game or by season if he needs to play. But paying guys 50,000 to 100,000, possibly even less can't really be that bad for them
