  1. Why let him test FA? Cut Addison, Quentin Jefferson, Vernon Butler and John Brown. That's nearly $40 million in cap space and actually goes over when you count the final cap figure. That's your Matt Milano and JJ Watt money right there. If the contracts are structured right, they can still have $15-20 million in cap space.
  2. I honestly don't know why we can't cut Quentin Jefferson, Vernon Butler and Mario Addison to make room for both. Cutting those 3 guys will open $26 million of cap space on top of what they will have once they get the cap figures.
  3. We should on draft guys who's name we can pronounce
  4. Watt must be telling his agent and teams that he is talking to to make sure that a lid is kept on things. Things have been mostly quiet almost a week in. There have literally been no confirmed reports of him actually meeting with or negotiating with anyone. There have only been rumors of teams that are interested in him and that he is interested in
  5. This is good then. No one wants a dirty TE
  6. Not gonna lie, I thought at very first glance this was a bald black guy having his head and face cleaned
  7. I thought it was humorous 😂
  8. It was a joke. People seem to think I was serious about it
  9. It was clearly a joke 😂😂
  10. If we sign Watt, we should make a song called "Play that funky music, Watt boy" to play in the stadium whenever he gets a sack
  11. As opposed to all those years we did mock drafts in November?
  12. What would Milano be on a Franchise Tag?
  13. I know Trubisky and Wentz aren't really that compelling. But the NFL loves giving the Bears a million primetime games a year for some reason. That's why to me this has Bears written all over it
  14. The only reason why I think this wouldn't happen is there have only been 3 intra-conference Thursday night openers since it started in 2002. The NFL seems to like to make this a conference game which is why I think it will be either the Cowboys, Saints or Bears. This has Trubisky or Carson Wentz or whatever QB they have all over it
  15. There has only been 3 Thursday Intra-Conference opening matchups since the Thursday night opener started in 2002 2003: Jets at Redskins 2007: Saints at Colts 2016: Panthers at Broncos The odds of an intra-conference game is slim in my opinion
  16. Yeah, the league needs to get more creative. Our last 5 openers have been At Baltimore Home vs Jets At Baltimore At Jets Home vs Jets At Tampa on the opening Thursday night would be a good change of pace. I think it will more likely end up being the Saints or Bears though
  17. I don't think anyone was beating the Buccs last night. It was a home game for them and I think that really worked to their advantage
  18. So, not only did Brady win a Super Bowl without Belichick but he wins it by the biggest deficit of his career. 8 out of those 9 SBs with Belichick were one score games and could have went the other way. Brady is just fine without him
  19. I've always been one of the ones that said Belichick's success was due to Brady. While I hate Brady, a win for him tonight confirms that and I want to prove my point because Belichick ain't never seeing another Super Bowl
  20. Every time I think of Peterman, I think of the radio skit Shredd & Ragan had when they had someone make a Peterman parody of AC/DCs "TNT" and it was called "INT" and in the background you can hear the announcer calls of Peterman's interceptions. It was great
  21. No, there was definitely a quote about him saying that
  22. Didn't Ralph not wanna hire him as a head coach when we were looking for one at one point because he "Didn't know anything about him?" If he was a Bills LB, how would that have been the case?
  23. I've never understood why kickers don't just blast kicks off players on onside kicks. It's the best way to avoid the 10 yard thing because it would mean the other team already touched it and considering it would bounce backwards after hitting the player, it makes it a lot easier to recover. If I was a coach, I would just say "pick a guy and kick it at him" Onside kicks are terrible
  24. If you want a TE, get Hunter Henry. He's a FA and won't have to give up anything
  25. Why would people be afraid of Stafford going to NE? It's Stafford, he's better than Newton but that's about it
