12/19/21 Gameday Bills vs Panthers Pregame Thread
Buffalo03 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
You want that so badly, don't you? -
Trust me, I 100% get what you're saying, believe me I do. I just don't agree with it anymore. There's a difference
-
You have to pay for guys that produce. That's just how it is. If you're content with just cycling through RBs every 5 years that are mediocre and constantly like Moss and Singletary with mid to late round picks then more power to you. I'll take the difference maker
-
They were fine when the season started becauee they played the Jets, Saints and Texans lol. They're 2-8 since starting 3-0. McCaffery isn't gonna win games himself. Yes, he's been hurt but even if he played a whole season, the team he is on is trash. And only the last 2 seasons he has been injured for the most part. The Panthers didn't do anything his first 3 years when he was healthy either
-
McCaffery is being wasted in Carolina. He's a top 3 player at his position on a team that is trash, has been trash and will more than likely continue to be trash for a while. He's gonna be 26 when next season starts and should be playing for a contending team. I don't think he's been in the playoffs since he's been in the league. That's a huge waste of talent
-
Just stop with the overpaying nonsense. I'm not talking Zeke money. But I have no issue with the Bills paying a RB that deserves it
-
It annoys me when I see great RBs like Barkley and McCaffery on crap teams just wasting away. A team like ours can use these guys. I would inquire about both
-
The Oline is a problem, yes. However, Moss is not good, Singletary doesn't have the speed and Breida is too small. We could go RB in the draft but how many 3rd round or later RBs are you willing to keep rolling the dice on until you find one. I do think a dynamic and fast RB can help an oline. I would take a RB either round 1 or 2 or try to trade for Barkley. It would make a huge difference

Saturday Night Football: Colts vs Pats thread
Buffalo03 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude, in a neutral game where the wind isn't a factor we have a better chance. Period. Your team ran in 40 times, what's that tell you? If we would have scrapped the run and just kept throwing like Allen was able to do and Belichick was afraid to do with noodle arm, we more than likely win that game. The bottomine is, the wind was a factor. How about the Diggs drop in the end zone? -

The wind was a huge factor. Granted, playcalling was atrocious for us but you lucked out on one huge TD run. That Harris TD doesn't happen, you lose that game. You ran 40 times. If that's a game without the elements, we have a much better chance at winning -

The Patriots 7 game win streak was against The Jets A close win to the Chargers The Panthers The Browns with a bunch of injuries The Falcons which are horrible The Titans without Derrick Henry or AJ Brown The Bills in a major windstorm They didn't have any real spectacular wins in that streak -
I actually just mentioned this to my friend yesterday and I'm not even joking. I told him that Barkley is 24, gonna be 25 in February. The Giants have to start over. Daniel Jones is a bust and they need to draft a new QB. The whole team is a mess and it honestly doesn't make sense for the Giants to hold Barkley hostage through his remaining good seasons he has left. Because of Barkley's injury history, I don't think any team would give up a first but I would give up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him. They will both be late picks in those rounds. Despite the injuries, I would call them and see what it would take

To win the division, yes. To get to the playoffs, no. I think we get in whether we win the division or not -

A Little Perspective: Why we shouldn't be down on the McBeane Regime
Buffalo03 replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would have hated seeing this board if it existed during the super bowl years. One blow out loss "this is not a super bowl team". If we had a bad first half "Levy is gotta go" lol. There's no reason to be down on this regime -
I sold my tickets to the Tampa game on stubhub a couple months ago and was told in an email when the tickets sold that it would take 7-10 days after the event to receive the money. To anyone that has ever sold tickets on here, does it typically take that long? Or do you usually have it within a few days?
-
Even after what we have experienced in our run game this year? I don't know who the top RBs are coming out next year and typically I wouldn't trade up for one either but next year I wouldn't be opposed to grabbing the top guy if it means a trade up but only if we're talking like a Saquon, Elliot or McCaffery type player. Not sure there's a RB in next year's draft like that or not

Bills will win out. And then...anything can happen
Buffalo03 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not scared of the Pats, it's just now with the Pats being relevant again, I'm more scared of the refs screwing us on calls to kill our chances. I hate to blame the refs and a lot of times I don't but the Patriots are the one team since Belichick has been there except maybe last year with Brady gone that we have had some extremely terrible calls against us when we play them. I just see the same crap happening -
I'm just saying that if it was called, there's no way we don't get it in from the 1 yard line with :28 left
