  1. The consistency is what I'm talking about. McDermott has been good at getting to the playoffs and winning at least one playoff game. Which is the same that Reid did a lot of those times in Philly. Considering, he had a first round bye in some of those seasons, his first game would be the divisional round and then lose the championship. For McDermott it's been winning the Wild Card and losing the divisional
  2. He was there for 14 years, though. I have always been an advocate of not firing him until he loses the locker room. Plus, I don't think Pegula will ever make that happen any time soon
  3. 5 times. But the fact is, McDermott has consistently gotten to the Divisional round. So, while Reid made it one game farther at times, their paths were pretty much Identical
  4. He wouldn't be that either. Schottenheimer had a 5-13 playoff record in 18 playoff games. McDermott is Andy Reid in Philly minus his one Super Bowl appearance
  5. Yeah, people that make the Marvin Lewis comparison, I don't understand. McDermott is already better than Marvin ever was.
  6. We gave them their only legit loss. We are the only team that has score 30 on them in like 50 games. We have had 12 games of over 30 points and I think 5 that we put up over 40 and one of those was against the number 1 seed on the NFC and another against the Rams which are a playoff team. It only makes sense to point out who the Broncos beat because they are not an elite team. They are a good up and coming team. They haven't made the playoffs in a decade. That would be like pointing our who the Chiefs have beaten after winning 3 super Bowls the last 5 years. Like come on.
  7. Not just other playoff teams but we beat the 2 #1 seeds in the league.and have been a super bowl contender for 5 straight years. The Broncos haven't made the playoffs in 9 years before this year. The other games against bad teams don't matter. The comparison you are trying to make is apples to oranges. I'm not sure what you are trying to prove. We are far and away the better team
  8. I honestly don't care. I've seen the games. He has more than enough time to stand in the pocket and deliver the ball
  9. Yes but we beat the #1 seeded teams in each conference so I think that kinda makes all the crap teams we beat irrelevant. We have the Chiefs their only legit loss and the Lions one of only 2 of their losses this year. This team is legit. We also put up 42 on the Rams and should have won that game as well
  10. The Bills beat the Chiefs and Lions. I wouldn't be trying to make it look like the Bills had it easier. The Bills have also been a legit Super Bowl contender the last 5 years. Denver hasn't
  11. In some ways, the Broncos this year are similar to the 2019 Bills. A young up and coming QB and team that made the playoffs but not quite ready yet
  12. Are we watching the same games? Allen has had a ton of time to throw in majority of games
  13. That was right after the Damar thing and in some ways, I don't think that team was fully with it mentally in that playoff game or the Bengals game that year. This year I think they will be laser focused
  14. Nor necessarily, Bruce. He was still playing pretty solid for a few more years. Kelly and Thurman for sure, though.
  15. Year 7 of you count the USFL. He was only in his 5th NFL season 85? That was 91
  16. The difference between now and that 96 team was that was the scrap heap of what was left of the Super Bowl years. It was Kelly's final game on the downside of his career. Thurman on the downside of his career. Cornelius Bennett left the off-season before. It was a team holding on. This team is ways away better than that team was. I'm not saying the Broncos can't win. They absolutely could and that is something I don't wanna think about. But that 96 team was much worse than what this team is
  17. I'm sorry I mean "the chance" of winning multiple Super Bowls
  18. Yeah, but me personally, I would rather win 3 Super Bowls ac an OC somewhere than go to a dumpster fire franchise to be a HC. But that's just me
  19. The problem is, some coaches don't care about the "great thing they have" and winning championships. They want to be HCs and take crap jobs just to take it. I hope Brady doesn't do that but generally, I honestly don't think most coordinators care about how much success they have. They wanna coach
  20. If teams are in the playoffs, don't interview their candidates. I'm sick of this
  21. Daboll also had success his first year and got Daniel Jones to have a decent year and got to the playoffs. That is the only reason he is still there. If he had missed the playoffs his first year as well, he most likely would have been axed today to
  22. Imagine how bad this board would have blown up if we got the Amazon Prime game
  23. Yeah, send Pittsburgh into Kansas City. That should scare them
  24. Well, come on, what is it? The suspense is killing me
