  1. Allen does wear 17 and I believe only one of a few players in the team's history to do so. So it makes it even more crazy. He wears that particular number right after the drought was over Yes, I meant Mike Patrick and said Dan on accident. Thanks for catching that
  2. I remember saying the game sounded loud on tv
  3. Yeah, Rob Johnson was awful. And the defense this season was coming off of back to back #1 defense seasons under Ted Cottrell. The game is not particularly exciting but I only post wins against that particular opponent in the place we are playing them. This is only 1 of 2 wins against the Titans in Buffalo. The other game in 2018 which was Josh's rookie year was actually a lot more boring than this game was. I miss the old Sunday Night Football crew. Mike Patrick could make any game exciting
  4. As I started last week, I will be posting old Bills games of our next opponent where we will be playing them the coming week. Last week I posted a 1995 Bills at Rams game and this week since it is a home game, I have chosen the Titans at Bills from week 1 of the 2000 season I refer to this as a bittersweet Bills game. Bitter because this was the very first game of the start of a 17 year playoff drought and was also the first game after the release of the big 3 (Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed and Bruce Smith) earlier that off-season. But obviously the sweet part was that it was a Bills win and you can never be upset with a Bills win. It also was a revenge game for us against Titans after losing to them in the Music City Miracle the year before and was on the opening Sunday night of the season at home in front of our fans. My biggest memory of this game was Alex Van Pelt coming in in the 4th quarter in relief of Johnson (because of Flutie injuring himself in training camp that season) to lead the Bills to a win after Johnson went down as he so often did. I also remember Steve Christie, in his last year as a Bill being clutch as he usually always was hitting the game winner in this one as well This game is only 1 of 2 times we have beaten the Titans as the Titans (not the Oilers) in Buffalo. The only other time was in 2018 which was Josh's rookie year. Feel free to post any thoughts or anything you remember about this game.
  5. What did he do?
  6. I wanna watch the Steelers vs Bengals game but the NFL decided to give is Pats vs Dolphins instead. I really didn't want the Pats crammed down my throat
  7. This is what I don't get, why can't teams be allowed to have full 53 man rosters available? What's the point of having to make 5 players inactive every week?
  8. I'd rather watch Steelers vs Bengals. I think it will be the better game
  9. The post game on NFL network was bad. Steve Smith said "Allen really grew tonight because all throughout 2021 he was playing hero ball". Really? Don't these guys make any effort to watch the Bills? Allen hasn't been hero ball Allen since 2019. These analysts are embarrassing
  10. Did you forget we played the defending super bowl Champs? I know you really wanna make us sound bad but at least try make some sense in your effort
  11. They were 4-1 in close games in 2020. Last year was a fluke. Relax
  12. So, by the looks of it, we are getting 2 games at 1 and 2 games at 4. 1:00: Pats vs Dolphins on CBS Eagles Vs Lions on FOX 4:00: Chiefs vs Cardinals on CBS Packers vs Vikings on FOX
  13. They can't do anything better than Patriots vs Dolphins? So we get forced fed the Patriots week 1? Ugh
  14. I'll probably toss a hot pocket or 2 in the microwave and burn my mouth on one of them bad boys
  15. This is why Beane is the best GM in football. He got this done now instead of waiting for it to possibly inflate even more. Well done
  16. He's gonna be doing this weekly. Just thought I'd share. Go Bills
  17. I don't know what the score will be but I can tell you either the Bills or Rams will win or possibly tie. You can write that down
  18. Yeah, I know he was there for a few years, but 1995 was his most productive. He basically took over for Reed that season. I'm also baffled at how Tasker never saw the field more as a WR
  19. Collinsworth was just as annoying in this game as he is now lol
  20. Well, I may post some wins from the drought but not losses lol
  21. When we play at New England I will see if I can find it. If not, I can post some highlights of it or show another Bills at Patriots game. But I will certainly look for it
  22. Every game I post will be a Bills win. Trust me, I don't wanna be reminded of any losses lol
