  1. It was said by many at the party that she had told him that she was 18. It's not on him to ask her for her driver's license to prove otherwise. It's on her to be honest about her age. If she really said she was 17 and he still went along with it, then he is 100% at fault
  2. Are you really that naive that you thought he meant that only him getting cut is gonna ruin his life? He meant ruin his life in general. An allegation like this can cause a bunch of problems in his life in multiple ways. Not just possibly ruining his sports career
  3. According to witnesses, she stated she was 18 on multiple occasions
  4. What I said isn't referring to Araiza specifically. It was a general response as an example. It takes at least 2 people to make sex happen, correct? It is not all his fault that he doesn't ask and it is not all hers that she doesn't tell him. However, because of the girl knowing she is the one underage, she should make it more clear. Though, while he could ask, it is not 100% on him to do so. Why do the women and the minors always get the benefit of the doubt in these cases?
  5. It's certainly not all his
  6. Ok. So, tell the guy you're a high schooler. Problem solved
  7. Lol. Ok man. Most people at college parties are drinking and trying to get laid, it's safe to assume that the people there are college age. I could completely understand why someone wouldn't ask. I ask again,, WHY CAN SHE NOT TELL HIM HER REAL AGE? she knows she's a minor, wouldn't that be the right thing to do?
  8. Ok but again, if the girl was 16 or 17, she should make it known to him. How common is it for college students to only be 16 years old?
  9. The only people going to college parties should be college students of college age. That's the point. You don't think when you're at a college party at 18 or 19 years old that a girl you're about to hookup with is only a 16 year old high school girl. She is the one that is under age. She should be the one to divulge her age. If she said she was a minor and he still proceeded, then he is at fault
  10. It was reported that it was an off campus college party
  11. A bar is also a place of business with a requirement of complying with people 21 and older to serve them alcohol. They could lose their alcohol license and be forced to shut down. This is a terrible comparison. It is not a man's job to ask a girl he is about to have sex with for proof of her ID. She is more than old enough to say "I am a minor". If he then proceeds, then he is 100% at fault.
  12. It was a college party. I think it's safe to assume that the people there should be of college age. I know that's probably how most are thinking when they are all there as well
  13. How? They were both at a college party. Why is it his job to ask her? And why can't she say "I'm really 17? Why would he assume she's underage? She shouldn't have even been there. If I was at college party for mainly college students, I would assume they are of age. If she said, "I'm 18", is he then supposed to ask her for ID at that point?
  14. It's not his job to ask. If she's underage she needs to tell him. It's not on him to verify her ID beforehand
  15. Well, yeah doing anything that those guys did is illegal. Big difference. But I think a lot of people go way too crazy with morals. For instance, as I stated before, I see no issue with 2 adults of any age dating or doing whatever they want with each other. I've gotten into arguments with people about how wrong they think it is. People go to extremes with morals over small stupid things
  16. I don't know about that, I know a lot of people that are adults that live or die by morals lol. One of my best friends thinks it's morally wrong to drink a few beers at a kid's birthday party. When both my parents and his parents had beer at our birthday parties growing up and we turned out fine, now all of a sudden it's gonna send people to hell to drink beer at a kid's birthday party lol
  17. Who cares about moral? If both people are adults, morality doesn't mean sh*t
  18. Did she tell him she was 17? She could have said she was older
  19. I hope it isn't true. Let's see what happens
  20. This is what I said. That's why I'm skeptical. Let's see what happens
  21. Ok. Let's see what happens
  22. Just saying, whenever one of these cases pops up, you have to think both ways. Did something happen? Very well could have but if a woman goes right for civil suits instead of criminal charges. You have to think. And the timing when he is guaranteed to be on the team and making enough money?
  23. Did the girl opt not to file charges? She skips right to a civil suit?
  24. This reminds me of this scene from Not Another Teen Movie
  25. Why the f*ck do we need him?
