  1. I refer drafting for need as doing it in every round, not one or 2 rounds especially later in drafts. I'm sure every gm as the draft goes on will take at least one guy they need. But you can't say he drafts for need if it's 1 or 2 rounds because drafting for need would imply he does it all rounds, especially if those needs are 6th and 7th round draft picks. Those picks are crap shoots anyway. That's a time of the draft where best player available won't matter as much
  2. Yes, and? the argument was, that he doesn't draft for need.
  3. I'm fully aware of this but look at all of his drafts combined. There are a lot of positions we didn't need that we drafted. Beane even said Kaiir was the last player on their board with a first round grade when they took him which just happened to be a need. 2021 was probably the draft he went after need the most. But we didn't need James Cook when we took him, we didn't need Terrell Bernard, we didn't need Shakir. We didn't need Singletary, or Knox or most of the other players that he has taken.
  4. Yes, you can do that in mid to later rounds but I do believe even then, it's still more of a best player on their board thing. You don't get as good as we have gotten always just drafting for need. Was James Cook a need? I don't think so, but I do believe he was the highest player on their board
  5. He drafts best player available and if that happens to be a need, he will trade up for the player. Just like he did with Elam
  6. Nope. When it's the main game at 4:25, it doesn't get flexed
  7. We can always be bad again and play every Sunday at 1 if it will make you happy. How does another playoff drought sound?
  8. Why are they still doing zoom press conferences? I hate watching them
  9. Ah, gotcha. I didn't know that. Pretty cool
  10. That's what I was thinking. If he signed today, he could actually start on Sunday and probably be up to speed pretty quickly
  11. I know TBD means Two Bills Drive but what is the AHOT part? Lol
  12. Thanks
  13. I wasn't at the game but watching it on TV, it seemed loud as hell. At that time, it was probably one of our more anticipated season/home openers ever considering what happened the year before
  14. I did not know this. Thanks for posting
  15. If I were the Cowboys, I would be calling up Fitz right now and seeing if he could be coaxed out of retirement. He's certainly better than anything they have
  16. Probably not lol
  17. Yeah, the way they handled that for 3 Bills legends just wasn't right. On Thurman Thomas's 'A Football Life" he said he actually found out on the ticker watching ESPN at home. Ownership didn't even have the decency to tell them in person
  18. What are the requirements for the sack percentage? Seems like he should have hit it easily
  19. 70-7 sure would have been nice lol Yeah, I believe he was sacked 1 out of every like 5 or 6 drop backs. And that was for every team he played for
  20. A lot of it was Johnson. He was one of the worst QBs in team history. We had Moulds and Price though, along with Remiersma. Definitely should have been better
  21. I remember going into that game wanting to get that revenge against them so bad. And it was a Sunfay night game so it made it even harder lol. We got the win though, it was nice to get pay back. It would have been better if it was a blow out though
  22. I also hated Rob Johnson. Never understood why there was a controversy back then. Probably one of the dumbest ever
  23. Yeah, Sam Cowart was a beast. I remember being upset we didn't resign him after that season. I believe he went the Vikings after thar but was never the same player Unfortunately, this season was the first of 17 straight non playoff seasons and was disappointing. We were 7-4 at one point this season before losing 4 of our last 5
  24. So, you're saying I should trade Ceedee Lamb in fantasy?
