  1. No ***** they have the power. That's never been up for debate but deep down they know they have to play. That's the point I've been trying to say this whole time
  2. I'm surprised so many people are just willing overlook everything this team has fought through this season and all the adversity they have faced to just throw it all away over this. The Team is not gonna wanna do that. Nor should they
  3. And if they give the Bills an L, then what? If the Bills said, "we don't wanna play the playoffs either". Is the NFL supposed to say "that's OK, we will hand pick a team in one week to take your place"? This team has worked too hard, they know what they are facing, they know they have to move on
  4. This isn't about me or any feelings I have lol. That's what you people don't understand. The bottom line is, if the Bills as a team with one week left to go until the playoffs say "we don't wanna play this week, and we may not be up for the playoffs either", it leads to a whole string of problems that the NFL has to solve. These guys know they have to keep going. It just has to happen. NOT BECAUSE I WANT IT TO, because it has to
  5. Let me ask you in terms you might understand better, what happens to the league, if the Bills only play 15 games, the Bengals play 16 and the rest of the league plays 17? In literally a 2 week time frame this all has to be decided. How would they proceed with the playoffs?
  6. But the odds of someone quitting over that probably won't happen. And the Bills as a team can't just quit going to work. Maybe the whole nfl should just shut down. This is insane
  7. You aren't getting it. I just can't anymore
  8. It's their job. They have to play again. If this happened with someone you worked with that you were close to, you have to go back to work, right? You may not be up for it, or wanna do it, but bottom line is, you have to. This isn't hard
  9. You people are all missing the point lol
  10. They HAVE to lol. That's just how it works. Whether they are driven to or want to. They have to
  11. Let me say this in terms you can understand. They HAVE to move forward because we can't have 2 canceled games and only 15 games played when it comes to playoff seeding when the rest of the league, minus the Bills and Bengals has 17. It's going to cause major issues. If this happened with someone you worked with at your job that you were close with, eventually you have to continue going back to work, right? These guys know they have a job to do. We can't have 2 canceled games. They have to play.
  12. This isn't hard to figure out, we can't only play 15 games when the rest of the league plays 17 games. It's gonna cause problems with playoff seeding, are the Bills gonna refuse to play playoff games to? We have to move forward, plain and simple
  13. My God, dude. At some point they have to move forward. All these people saying "just cancel the season, we don't need the Lombardi. I don't care" are insane. We all want Damar to improve and we all want the best for him and to see him make a full recovery, but they HAVE to move forward. That's just the way it is. Hamlin won't get better by having us not play.
  14. I think they know they have no choice but to move forward. They know they have to. It will be hard this week but they have to do it
  15. And they can still fire their coach with the Bills and Bengals playing next week
  16. We have to move forward. The playoffs are coming up. One game canceled is doable. 2 games becomes a major problem. We have to move forward
  17. At what point do you finally say, they have to move forward?
  18. So, moving a game back a week will prevent a team from firing a head coach?
  19. They have to play Sunday anyway. Eventually they have to move on. Playing that game is important 8n my opinion
  20. I think playing game and moving everything back is the best way to move forward
  21. So, the losing team between the Bills and Bengals plays Thursday to finish the regular season and then turns around and plays a wild card game 3 days later? Am I seeing that right?
  22. It would be most fair to all teams. If us and the Bengals play one less game, that's not fair to the other teams that played 17 games. The Chiefs will play 17 games. Even if they lose, they will go 13-4. If we beat the Patriots we would be 13-3. We would get the 1 seed in front of them but is that really fair considering we played one less game? Or is it fair to both us and the Bengals who both have a chance at the 1 seed to just not get our shot at it because people think we should forfeit? No, it's stupid. Play the 17 games, move back the playoffs one week. It's simple and fair for all parties. Making a Chiefs game not count is beyond asinine
  23. Why would playing the week after be your least favorite? It's fair for all parties involved. I don't like the idea of just taking a loss after everything this team has put into this season and all the adversity they have faced to just take a loss. All teams should have the same amount of games played. If we lose, then it is what it is. But a generator or dice roll is even more dumb than just moving the playoffs back a week and playing the game. There's a week between the championship games and the Super Bowl where nothing is going on. It's literally right there in front of them
  24. I still say push the playoffs back a week and get rid of the bye week before the Super Bowl. It's the only logical solution. After week 18, Bills and Bengals pick up where they left off the following weekend and then playoffs start the week after. I feel like anything else is overthinking it or making it more complicated
  25. Benjamin Albright mentioned a random number generator. Considered no contest
