Blue jerseys, White pants, blue socks, Wild Card weekend
Buffalo03 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was hoping for blue unis with red pants. Would have been fantastic -
If I was Wade, I would have told him to fire me. There is no way I would let my name be on that at all
-
How amazing would it be for Hyde to play for Codrington and Micah comes in and returns a kickoff or punt for a TD? That would be insane
-
I get it
-
I mean Flutie was. If he plays that game we probably win it. Starting Rob Johnson was one of the worst franchise decisions ever made
-
I agree his defense needs to show up. But that doesn't make it Marvin Lewis vibes Neither did those other coaches lol
-
No, it doesn't make my argument worse. This is an argument about you trying to put McDermott on Marvin Lewis level and me crushing the Marvin Lewis narrative. It's an argument against Marvin Lewis since you keep wanting to bring up that he didn't have Allen
-
Where do you rank Matt Ryan? Was he better than Allen is? What about Matthew Stafford? Jared Goff? Nick Foles? These are all guys that have been to or won Super Bowls the last 10 years
-
No other head coach has ever had Allen, yet have won more playoff games than Marvin Lewis. John Gruden won a Super Bowl with Brad Johnson, Brian Billick won with Trent Dilfer, Lovie Smith got Rex Grossman to a Super Bowl. John Fox got Jake Delhomme to a Super Bowl. Stop with the "he didn't have Allen excuse" I just gave many examples of coaches that didn't have Allen that won multiple playoff games and Super Bowls without Allen. Lewis didn't do it in 7 tries
-
It doesn't matter if he didn't have Allen or not, Marvin Lewis vibes is incorrect because the guy never won a playoff game in 7 tries and only made the playoffs in 7 of 16 seasons. Just stop with this "vibes" comparison. It's not right Andy Reid in Philly vibes? Yes Tony Dungy in Tampa vibes? Yes Marvin Lewis vibes? No, not even close.
-
We need guys like Ed Oliver who have disappeared in playoff games to make plays. The dude was a complete non factor in that Chiefs playoff game last year
-
Are you saying what Diggs did was bad? He was trying to keep the team focused just in case they had to keep playing. That's the only reason he did that. He was also the first one at the hospital that night to see Damar after it happened
-
McNabb also isn't the QB that Allen is either. Had he been Allen level, you probably would have heard that talk Not now with the Super Bowl wins. I'm specifically referring to Reid in Philly. Not now
-
No, it's about right. Marvin Lewis is way off. Marty isn't close. Maybe Dungy in Tampa? But other than that, it's Reid in Philly
-
The consistency is what I'm talking about. McDermott has been good at getting to the playoffs and winning at least one playoff game. Which is the same that Reid did a lot of those times in Philly. Considering, he had a first round bye in some of those seasons, his first game would be the divisional round and then lose the championship. For McDermott it's been winning the Wild Card and losing the divisional
-
He was there for 14 years, though. I have always been an advocate of not firing him until he loses the locker room. Plus, I don't think Pegula will ever make that happen any time soon
-
5 times. But the fact is, McDermott has consistently gotten to the Divisional round. So, while Reid made it one game farther at times, their paths were pretty much Identical
-
He wouldn't be that either. Schottenheimer had a 5-13 playoff record in 18 playoff games. McDermott is Andy Reid in Philly minus his one Super Bowl appearance
-
Yeah, people that make the Marvin Lewis comparison, I don't understand. McDermott is already better than Marvin ever was.
-
We gave them their only legit loss. We are the only team that has score 30 on them in like 50 games. We have had 12 games of over 30 points and I think 5 that we put up over 40 and one of those was against the number 1 seed on the NFC and another against the Rams which are a playoff team. It only makes sense to point out who the Broncos beat because they are not an elite team. They are a good up and coming team. They haven't made the playoffs in a decade. That would be like pointing our who the Chiefs have beaten after winning 3 super Bowls the last 5 years. Like come on.
-
Not just other playoff teams but we beat the 2 #1 seeds in the league.and have been a super bowl contender for 5 straight years. The Broncos haven't made the playoffs in 9 years before this year. The other games against bad teams don't matter. The comparison you are trying to make is apples to oranges. I'm not sure what you are trying to prove. We are far and away the better team
-
I honestly don't care. I've seen the games. He has more than enough time to stand in the pocket and deliver the ball
-
Yes but we beat the #1 seeded teams in each conference so I think that kinda makes all the crap teams we beat irrelevant. We have the Chiefs their only legit loss and the Lions one of only 2 of their losses this year. This team is legit. We also put up 42 on the Rams and should have won that game as well
-
The Bills beat the Chiefs and Lions. I wouldn't be trying to make it look like the Bills had it easier. The Bills have also been a legit Super Bowl contender the last 5 years. Denver hasn't
-
In some ways, the Broncos this year are similar to the 2019 Bills. A young up and coming QB and team that made the playoffs but not quite ready yet
