  1. Let me say this in terms you can understand. They HAVE to move forward because we can't have 2 canceled games and only 15 games played when it comes to playoff seeding when the rest of the league, minus the Bills and Bengals has 17. It's going to cause major issues. If this happened with someone you worked with at your job that you were close with, eventually you have to continue going back to work, right? These guys know they have a job to do. We can't have 2 canceled games. They have to play.
  2. This isn't hard to figure out, we can't only play 15 games when the rest of the league plays 17 games. It's gonna cause problems with playoff seeding, are the Bills gonna refuse to play playoff games to? We have to move forward, plain and simple
  3. My God, dude. At some point they have to move forward. All these people saying "just cancel the season, we don't need the Lombardi. I don't care" are insane. We all want Damar to improve and we all want the best for him and to see him make a full recovery, but they HAVE to move forward. That's just the way it is. Hamlin won't get better by having us not play.
  4. I think they know they have no choice but to move forward. They know they have to. It will be hard this week but they have to do it
  5. And they can still fire their coach with the Bills and Bengals playing next week
  6. We have to move forward. The playoffs are coming up. One game canceled is doable. 2 games becomes a major problem. We have to move forward
  7. At what point do you finally say, they have to move forward?
  8. So, moving a game back a week will prevent a team from firing a head coach?
  9. They have to play Sunday anyway. Eventually they have to move on. Playing that game is important 8n my opinion
  10. I think playing game and moving everything back is the best way to move forward
  11. So, the losing team between the Bills and Bengals plays Thursday to finish the regular season and then turns around and plays a wild card game 3 days later? Am I seeing that right?
  12. It would be most fair to all teams. If us and the Bengals play one less game, that's not fair to the other teams that played 17 games. The Chiefs will play 17 games. Even if they lose, they will go 13-4. If we beat the Patriots we would be 13-3. We would get the 1 seed in front of them but is that really fair considering we played one less game? Or is it fair to both us and the Bengals who both have a chance at the 1 seed to just not get our shot at it because people think we should forfeit? No, it's stupid. Play the 17 games, move back the playoffs one week. It's simple and fair for all parties. Making a Chiefs game not count is beyond asinine
  13. Why would playing the week after be your least favorite? It's fair for all parties involved. I don't like the idea of just taking a loss after everything this team has put into this season and all the adversity they have faced to just take a loss. All teams should have the same amount of games played. If we lose, then it is what it is. But a generator or dice roll is even more dumb than just moving the playoffs back a week and playing the game. There's a week between the championship games and the Super Bowl where nothing is going on. It's literally right there in front of them
  14. I still say push the playoffs back a week and get rid of the bye week before the Super Bowl. It's the only logical solution. After week 18, Bills and Bengals pick up where they left off the following weekend and then playoffs start the week after. I feel like anything else is overthinking it or making it more complicated
  15. Benjamin Albright mentioned a random number generator. Considered no contest
  16. They can start the playoffs a week late. Get rid of the bye before the SB
  17. How about get rid of the bye week leading into the Super Bowl. Move the first round of the playoffs back one week and in between week 18 until the delayed wild card round, have the Bills and Bengals continue their game to determine a first round by the next week. That sounds fair for all parties
  18. If the game continues, do they start it where it left off? Or restart at 0-0?
  19. Did you say this when Chicago scored on the opening drive last week to?
  20. If this happens, I still think our starters would still have to play at least a half against the Patriots. If we get a first round bye, you don't want 2 weeks worth of starters not playing. At least a half keeps them fresh and a first round bye would be just like a regular bye, instead of chancing rust coming out of 2 consecutive byes
  21. Right, a small chance. As small as it is, the Dr could have just flat out said "you're done, take the year off" and Hyde himself can say "I'm back working out bur I'm gonna rehab for next season". I personally don't think he returns but I think it just makes more sense that he basically says he's getting ready for next year
  22. Already read it. He could still acknowledge the fact that he's out for the season and not coming back at all. It makes no sense to leave the door open just for someone to say "he had surgery on a herniated disk in his neck, not happening". If he honestly felt he couldn't play at all, there's no need whatsoever to even keep the door open
  23. A 4pm game isn't a big dig deal
  24. Not saying you're wrong, but why would he keep the door open about playing then? Doesn't seem to make much sense
