Steelers @ Ravens playoff game thread (no Bills stuff please)
Buffalo03 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, Tomlin knows he won't get fired. The Steelers typically keep coaches until they retire. They have only had 3 coaches since 1969 -
Steelers @ Ravens playoff game thread (no Bills stuff please)

The difference is the Ravens actually finished their drive with a TD -
2nd & 40 lmao. This game has it all

Yeah, it will not surprise me if this is the first ever playoff game in history to end in a tie at this point. The team that moves on will be decided by coin flip tomorrow

In your backyard? Do you live in Florida?
-
Well, this is the 4 and 5 seed, so no

Stroud was singing 99 red luft balloons as soon as he left the huddle

Yeah, when I saw how cheap they were, I almost bought some myself but then thought, if they win this game and go to the divisional, I would rather save my money for that game to go to even if it costs more
-
I think it's the opponent and the time of the game. It's not a prime time game. It's a 1pm game and the Broncos aren't necessarily a draw that many people care to see really. I don't really think the weather would be too much of a factor because, it's supposed to be around 30 degrees which actually isn't bad

I looked at Stubhub a few days ago and tickets were going for around $95 a piece in the 300 level, which is really cheap. I'm wondering if it's the opponent? I would have to imagine if we had been playing the Bengals it would have been around $200 or more for a ticket

A lot of the critics and probably even the voters just can't take the fact that they were wrong about Allen. There are still people today that still wanna find errors in his game like INTs instead of the great player he is and now if they get to vote, it's their way of screwing him over still. Lamar winning the MVP almost unanimously last year basically says that. Lamar was nowhere near as good last season as he was this season but all they did was focus on Allen's INTs even though he led the league in TDs. It should be a full season (including postseason) award. If Lamar gets beat in the wild card and plays like he always does in the playoffs and Allen goes all the way to and wins the Super Bowl or even the Championship game and plays well, how can you even vote for Lamar? It's annoying

The best part of not having a wild card Saturday playoff game is knowing your team is still alive on Sunday morning

Another Mile Stone In Bills History at Highmark #500 for a Icon .

I remember Jim Nantz talking about how fantastic Buffalo fans and staff were when him and Romo did the Steelers game here back in 2022. It was the day after Nance's mother passed away and he was wondering the night before if he should even do the game but decided to go ahead with it. He stated that the Bills staff and stadium crew all came to him and showed their sympathies to him and Bills fans donated to an alzheimer's foundation that he started for his dad and donated lots of money with a message saying "Bills Mafia. God Bless you, Jim" and he said it was the only team and fanbase that did it and he was entirely grateful for it. It just goes to show how truly special our team and fans are. -
These MVP voters need to look at seasons as a whole. Not week to week. Allen went on a tear from the KC game until the Detroit game. He single handedly won the KC game with his TD run. But because he plays an average game against the Patriots, he loses his shot? It's beyond stupid.

Mahomes is standing in the way of Allen getting Super Bowls Lamar is standing in the way of Allen getting MVPs Even though, Allen definitely had the better year last year and I also believe was better this year also
-
I did not know about how close he was to being the Bills HC. I actually don't remember him even interviewing back then. So, what you're telling me is, we hired Dick Jauron over him? That would have been 2006. That was Jauron's first year. That makes me wanna puke

Monday night game moved to Arizona (Rams/Vikings)
Buffalo03 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's actually every year. There's always one division winner every year that usually has at least 2 or 3 less wins than the team they playing in the wild card. This is the one year where the 5 seed has 14 wins. Usually it's 11 or 12. But every year this happens -
The highlight of Arthur Moats career
-
Yeah, the Vikings were amazing that year. But that game was played in New Orleans. Favre got beat to a pulp and that's when that whole "bounty" scandal took place. I remember that game well mainly because I remember thinking it could be Favre's last game but he ended up coming back another year
-
Crack is bad. Stay off crack
-
Are you referring to the NFC Championship game that year? Because that was in New Orleans. Not Minnesota
-
Ray Finkle?

Why is it always board members I have never heard of that start making posts like this. Who the hell is Wide Left?

They also lost to the Raiders and Browns
