If you were the Browns....would you...
GrizzReaper replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That could be great for Indy... I can see why your buddy likes the idea. Then again it could be horrible bc Luck is proven as a capable QB and there's no way to be sure whomever they pick will pan out. QB is a very important position if I was the GM for the Colts there's no way I'm giving up a franchise QB for unknown quantities... Regardless of his bionic shoulder and bloated paycheck. Just my opinion. -
We like it, we love it, we want some more of it!

What if Browns covet LAMAR?!?!
GrizzReaper replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was wondering if the Browns like Jackson too after that trade. They could think Taylor and Jackson are the same "type" of QB (mobile/athletic) with Lamar having more potential. So they get Tyrod, draft Barkley, then Jackson... Now they have the option to build their offensive attack around a mobile athletic QB and start off with a veteran in Tyrod while rookie Jackson sits and learns some. With Tyrod they won't have to worry about interceptions and can (hopefully) rely on Barkley to carry their offense. Then when they think he's ready they can pop Lamar into the starting role and not have to revamp their offensive philosophy because they'll already have implemented an offense built around a mobile QBs strengths and weaknesses... Idk... Just speculation but it makes sense in a way to me. Ya never know what any team is going to do come draft day. Especially the Browns... -
Who can throw in the snow and bitter cold?
GrizzReaper replied to Misterbluesky's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think it'll be an issue... There is like 1 bad weather Arctic tundra game per season at home. These guys are about to be NFL QBs I doubt they have noodle arms and can't handle a bit of wind. Plus they have cold wx gear and heaters on the sidelines... Also I would think the guy will get acclimated and the visiting team would have a harder time adjusting to the wx unless they are coming from a chilly windy place too... -
Easy now killer...

Greatest Fans in the World!!!

I always ran into someone from Buffalo when I was in... Unfortunately one was my Drill Sgt in basic and he took a special interest in torturing me bc we were both from Buffalo... Thank for your service brother and yeah we are the best. -
Only if he agrees to stomp on Brady every time he sacks him... On a serious note... Why not? He's a good DT.

Was The Tyrod Taylor Era a Success?
GrizzReaper replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't expect much from him when Ryan brought him here... He was an improvement. I can't hold him responsible for the management not being more decisive sooner regarding upgrading the position. Everyone knew we needed an upgrade at QB before last season and some even before that... That's not on Tyrod though. He gave us his best. I'd say he was a success... -
Wait when did the topic switch to Jimbo?

Wow that's crazy... I had better stop violating my wife's civil rights asap then. Thanks for the heads up!

Really? Hmm I doubt that charge carries the maximum punishment murder does though. Death by hot oil maybe idk

Hypothetical.... Pfft what a turd. They made sure to get him in Nevada for that armed robbery deal though. I was surprised they let him out early on that bid. Some guys have all the luck I guess.

Dear Brian Daboll, -Do you stink as an OC?
GrizzReaper replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I built a few small rockets in the garage with my kid... So I suppose I'm a rocket scientist. -
Would be nice if he stayed... Boy that secondary would be nasty! Get some pass rush sprinkled in there and watch out.

Sal C’s “Dear Browns fans....” about Tyrod Taylor
GrizzReaper replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe Taylor gave us his best every game he played here. Seemed to be a good guy both on and off the field. Never had any locker room issues... The guy sat behind Flacco all those years came here and won his QB competitions. He handled being benched for a rookie with class. QBed the first Bills team to make the playoffs in forever. He was by far the best QB we've had in Buffalo since Kelly... Sure he had his limits. The missed open guys and all that... All QBs have their limitations. I guess I don't get why anyone would feel the need to take a jab at the guy as he's moving on to his new team. He gave us his best and conducted himself like a true professional during his time as the Bills QB. So what if we argued about him... We argue about everything. We will be arguing about the next QB too. That's what we do. I don't see why Sal even bothered to write that up. I suppose that's his job. I don't get it... I haven't seen Taylor dogging the Bills anywhere since this trade was announced. I think showing the guy some respect on his way out of town is the least we could do. Tyrod, thanks for what you did for us here in Buffalo and I'm wishing you the best of luck in Cleveland and beyond. -
No sure what's going on here... but wasn't this Bob clown right about Mario Williams coming to the Bills? Idk I recall him being right about that... He has been wayyy off on a few of his scoops I've read too though. I suppose him being correct is the exception not the norm. I'd be happy to have Foles but not if the pick traded away negates our ability to move up the board to draft whomever it is all this draft capital was amassed for...

Dear Brian Daboll, -Do you stink as an OC?
GrizzReaper replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah... I hope he doesn't suck too. Too early to get all worked up about it imo. Whether we like it or not we have him as the OC this year. He hasn't even called a Bills game yet so... I'm going to hope for the best. In the meantime there's still a lot of off-season drama to entertain myself with. -
It could go good and bad. I am tired of seeing PI calls flip the field though. Heck in this year's Superbowl I watched Gronkowski start flopping around like a fish out of water to try to draw a PI on that final bomb to the end zone. I can't post a video of it but I remember watching it and thinking how much of a douche Gronk is. You can clearly see how bad he was acting to try to get the PI call. That could've changed the outcome of the Superbowl. It's sickening.

Preston Brown thinks he can help the Patriots
GrizzReaper replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope he doesn't go to NE. I know it's probably just paranoia but I swear they just want to pick his little MLB brain. Wasn't he making the defenses calls on the field? Man I hate New England... Guess you can't blame the guy for trying to get paid. GL Brown... Unless it's with NE. -
Should the Bills re-sign Seantrel Henderson?
GrizzReaper replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone else find it kind of strange that after years of conflict overseas we suddenly have this surge of heroin in the U.S? We burned a lot of poppie fields but a whole lot of them were left to be... Idk just seems wierd to me. Oh back on topic... I dont think theyll bring Seantrel back. All things considered. -
Sign Fitz! LoL

Jaguars Have Signed Bortles to a Contract Extension
GrizzReaper replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jacksonville made a solid move there. Good for them... Bortles is still a bad QB. Good for us hes in the AFC. -
Idk... I can't see getting rid of Incognito. Hes still playing well and our OL is already shoddy. Even if Groy steps in for Woods we still need a swing center/g. I think if they dont make a move for a QB they are nabbing a OL with that 21st pick. I'd like Price... Glenn has been hurt. Maybe they could trade him but then we have another hole on the line. If they are comfortable his injury situation is sorted out we have to keep him. He has been a solid LT when healthy. If not they should probably just move on sooner than later. Which imo makes pick 22 another o line pick. I don't want Taylor moved if it's only for a temporary replacement. Unless they are drafting a QB they expect to take over as the starter or signing a vet who they plan on starting more than 1 year. Imo none of these FA QBs are the anwser. Cousins contract will be big... Bradford I like but he is injury prone. On and on I have my reasons. IF they could manage Cousins I suppose I'd feel good about our QB situation and look forward to how they build around him. I just highly doubt we land him. Bradford could be good but I just don't see his body holding up. If they dont move up and sit at 21 and 22 there are a few ways they could go that would make sense to me. 21 Price to replace Wood and we still have Groy as the swing. 22 get a DT like Payne... If Meatball retires our d line is in desperate need of talent. Heck even if he stays they could use Payne. Then they need a CB... I think they sort that out via FA though. I don't think Gaines plans on staying given Tre Whites comments. I'm looking forward to seeing how McDermott and Beanes first off season together goes. It will give us a good idea of what kind of team we will be watching for the next few years.
