Out with a knee injury.

That was a good quip by Michaels about Lee Corso when they showed the fan wearing the bear head!
-
He was on the pregame as well. You wonder why they bring an Eagles player to a Panthers/Bears game. Is he auditioning for a post NFL career?
-
It's to signal to the center to snap the ball when the QB is in shotgun during a silent count. Normally if the QB is under center he would tap the center to indicate the snap.

I saw Bryce Young walking onto the field after talking to his QB coach. I didn't read into it.

Nice ST play!

Nice anthem rendition. Go Air Force!

Two bad teams. Should be competitive.

Simms: Gabe Davis is a good player, but he's not a number two
jkeerie replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He plays like #2. -
Dane Jackson was fine. Taylor Rapp not so much. He's the one that whiffed on the third TD.

I disagree with this. I think the problem is one of loyalties. With Josh, he is loyal to his guys. So he tries to force feed the ball to the likes of Gabe Davis. Josh needs to just throw it to the open guy no matter who it is. As to Dorsey he needs to adopt the philosophy if it's working, don't try to fix it. Trust your eyes and just go with it.

Definitely Chargers. If Jets lose, the Bills did not lose any ground in the division which is likely their best route to making the playoffs. Having said that, the Bills need to do their part and GET BETTER!
-
I actually agree with this. Gabe reminds me of McKenzie. McKenzie had flashes in certain games versus certain teams...NE and Detroit. Then he was good maybe for a 6 yarder on occasion. (The difference is that McKenzie ran his mouth a lot to reporters which is never helpful.) To me Gabe hasn't earned the right to be on that field as the number 2 WR. Shakir has and clearly Josh is trusting Shakir more and more.

It's the inconsitencies on offense and special teams that drive me nuts the most!
-
That is true, although the level of competition within their division has been woeful. It's like the AFC East when the Patriots dominated over it with Brady. We dominated prior to this year. The competition this year is a lot more fierce.

So much depends on luck. We have been snake bit in the injury department for the past two years...with this year being more critical injuries to more key players. I'm not on the fire McD band wagon. It's incredible what this defense is doing with such key injuries. Perhaps, being the DC and HC is leading to one side suffering. I was glad they let Frasier go. For anyone with eyes...who aren't blurred from all the yelling at the TV...the D is playing better. I can't say the same for the offense. What works one week isn't done the following week. Why? Who knows? Things even change drive to drive! To me, that's on Dorsey. For those posters who are saying McD is trying to micromanage Dorsey...we can't really say that with certainty. Yes...he wants a balanced attack in general with running as well as passing. However, having a generalized philosophy for your team is a far cry from dictating to your OC. We had these same inconsistencies under Daboll...who hasn't exactly shown his capabilities beyond Josh Allen either. For those posters saying that McD has lost the locker room...you are projecting your own feelings. There is no evidence that there is mutiny among the troops. Changes need to be made, but not wholesale. Not yet. Manage the injuries on defense. Scrap the long developing plays on offense and go with the up tempo short to mid passes with some runs sprinkled in...including Josh. Bench some players that need to be benched. The AFC was not very good in those years. The talent was mostly in the NFC.

It hasn't gone unnoticed yet again that Josh's INTs seem to happen when he's targeting Davis.
-
Our banged up D only gave up 3 points in the second half. Dorsey needs to stop being schizophrenic. Up tempo, quick passes work. Why does he insist on series with long developing plays? Quite honestly I expected a blow out tonite. Bengals are a good team and they are healthy. Our team is getting more banged up each week. If Kinkaid doesn't fumble, who knows? We need to get healthy and the offense needs to play smarter.
-
Dang. If Kinkaid doesn't fumble....

Washington v USC: Battle for the First Overall Pick

Riley fired his DC. -
That's just it. Reich and Young are with the Panthers. Remember? Reich was fired from the Colts.
-
I'm confused. Doesn't Irsay own the Colts?
-
They lost their kicker and didn't want to take a chance on a 2 pt conversion.
-
I agree. However Ohio State QBs have rarely faired well in the pros. Stroud is legit though. No argument there.

Nice toss by Stroud.
