  1. He did not say nor did he imply that he was being fired! This Board is unbelievable! He wasn't lying. This is the poster interjecting his own opinion.
  2. Basically...he feels badly for Dorsey because he's a good friend. He spoke with him and Dorsey is upbeat. Says things just just didn't work out. Optimistic for his future. Frasier spoke about his own derparture. He was basically burnt out after all the drama of last season (e.g. Damar). Spoke with Tre. He's had his surgery and is rehabbing. They reminisced about their time together. He thinks the team can rebound. He picked the Bills for the Superbowl and has confidence McD can right the ship. So basically none of the scapegoat crap being posted on this Board by people who choose to read between the lines without actually reading the lines as well. Altogether a good positive interview.
  3. You mean like this Board?
  4. They are not quite as bad...but it was kind of billsy of them.
  5. He's young and is making his share of rookie mistakes. However, we had low expectations of Bernard after his rookie season and now he's one of our best players. So...give Dorian time and I'll expect the same.
  6. I don't agree with your takes often, but this is a solid take. Very well said. I think part of Allen's poor decision making stems from him trying to do too much and make things happen offensiviely. I hope Brady stays on the sideline or has someone with Josh on the sideline to stay in his ear and encourage him.
  7. You said "Hat down over his eyes." That is not an expression. He didn't chuckle once during the presser. Just admit you didn't watch it.
  8. You obviously didn't watch today's presser. He was wearing a knit hat so he couldn't have been covering his eyes.
  9. But as Josh said post game it never should have come down to that. The D was getting stops...giving up only 6 points on 4 turnovers and short fields. Our offense wasn't able to move the ball. When we finally did...running the ball...that approach is abandoned until later in the game. Dorsey's play calling is maddening!
  10. I do like what Mike Norvell has done in the college ranks. Likely, though, that is where he wants to stay. I'm trying to think...has there ever been a successful college HC that transitioned to the pros as a HC and enjoyed immediate success? I can think of one...Jim Harbaugh that went from Stanford to the 49ers...but he also played QB in the NFL for 14 years. Anyone else?
  11. Maybe not. It seemed like Dorsey was asleep for the first half of the games.
  12. I said "yes" but it's qualified. If it means that the team has responded and put the Bills in the playoffs, then , yes, I want him back. If that doesn't happen then likely they will need to make a change.
  13. We're hearing it on this board. Everyone is projecting their own feelings onto the team and players. Until I hear things from players and coaches themselves, I do not buy any of it. McD is not perfect, we all know that. I think firing Dorsey was appropriate. His inconsistencies were maddening! We'd have a successful game plan and then we don't see it for the rest of the season! We have success running the ball which opens up the pass and we score. The suddenly we're back to ignoring the run. Special teams is flawed as well, but I'm placing a lot of that on Martin's inconsistencies as a punter which compromises coverage as well as field position. I would like to see McD appoint someone else to call the defensive plays. I think he has too much on his plate on game day and the errors we saw in clock management, etc at the beginning of his HC career and which did improve, have now returned. So...let's see how the rest of the season plays out. If the team responds positively and we see the team from earlier in the season, then McD has turned things around. If not, then it would not surprise me to see a change come seasons end. But for now...it's all hyperbole.
  14. Look at the difference in SF when Deebo Samuels plays. His presence on the field makes a big difference in the way Purdy plays, even when he's being pressured...although that occurs less when Trent Williams plays.
  15. I attribute many of Josh's errors to the pressure he feels to create something offensively because of the inconsistencies in our play calling.
  16. I'm not saying we can't beat the tough teams. My point was that IF we can't beat them now, we likely won't beat them later either.
  17. Although I hate the last part, the point of fact is, that if the Bills can't beat the tough teams on their schedule...many of whom they would see in the playoffs, it won't matter what they do to the non-winning teams. They will be one and done in the playoffs anyways.
  18. I did not get that impression at all. He said it almost in passing, then commented on being aggressive on D, and then he mentioned practicing going from dime to the FG team this week, even practicing blocks. He said the whole team had to be better.
  19. Today was just a mess. This season has turned into a mess since Tre went down. Next we lose Milano and Daquon...followed by weekly losses of key players on defense. The defense is too wounded. Offensively Dorsey's inconsistent play calling has led to further mistakes on the offense. Josh presses and it's more of the same. Our punter keeps gifting the other team with good field position. McD can't focus on game management and the D all game. I could attribute everything to the Madden curse. But this team has been cursed long before Madden. At this juncture, barring an exorcism, this season is over. It is not good enough in its present state to compete...even if it made the playoffs. So I will watch the NFL. I will cheer for the Bills with no expectations. I will cheer against certain teams that I have come to abhor over time. And I will not take the sport so seriously. And post season...let the chips fall where they may.
  20. I think he was ready to throw it to the middle, saw Shakir and brought the ball back to throw it to him instead.
  21. They were swatting without contact. The most effective at keeping Wilson from catching the ball was his own teammate. They were even discussing it on the late night sports replay shows.
  22. Uh...all the Raiders were behind the Jet receivers.
  23. That was too close for comfort. Jets almost lucked out again.
  24. Incompetence?
  25. I'm sorry that happened to you but it seems your beef should be more with your coworkers and company versus PA. You should have been made aware of the specific allegations although I believe the identity of the accuser could have been protected.
