Did y'all catch Josh's fiance in the boob commercial yesterday?
jkeerie replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
The ad was showing males who objectify breasts doing just that. To me the ad was communicating to women that just as men pay attention to women's breasts, women need to pay attention... particularly to their own breasts. So I didn't see it the way you did, likely because I am a woman. -

There's awareness, but women still ignore getting regular screenings. They think if there is not a family history and they're young, they don't have to worry. Some don't have health insurance (although there are free screenings available in a number of areas) or they just don't want to be bothered. Additionally, I can tell you as a woman that the procedure is not very comfortable and in fact can be momentarily painful. I think...especially with the young Swiftie fans tuning in...it was a good opportunity to reach out to women to get screened regularly.- 84 replies

Eagles need to stop KC on their opening drive of the second half. Don't let them get any momentum.
-
For now, I've switched to the NFL Network, where they're analyzing the first half.
-
The real weakness on the Bills D this year was the secondary. When Benford was out, it made it that much worse.
-
We just have to admit the Eagles are a much more talented team than the Bill's. It's absolutely amazing what the Bills were able to accomplish this year with so little talent. That's why Josh is the MVP.

BS right from the start!
-
I agree. Brady was confident, but never cocky. Mahomes is cocky and comes across as entitled.
-
He's much more likeable now that the Bills don't have to play against him!

Matthew Smiley out as Special Teams coach
jkeerie replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Joe Buscaglia on the show Leading the Charge one week...said that McD and Smiley didn't see eye-to-eye and he expected he would be gone post season. McD never throws anyone under the bus to the press, so either he had in mind post season to make the move and just didn't want to put it out there, or in his post season meeting with him, the differences were still pronounced and he realized he needed to make the change. -
Hamm's a Chiefs fan. He was talking about it on the red carpet.
-
Barkley just won OPY. Before the show they announced Ben Johnson won Asst Coach of the year.
-
Stats don't measure his effectiveness. He's a disruptor that demands attention from the offensive line. This frees up other players to make plays.
-
To me the biggest difference is KC has Chris Jones. He's the difference maker that elevates the play of the entire KC defense. The Bills have no one defensively that is a difference maker. I would add that KC 's secondary this year had more talent than the Bill's secondary... especially with Benford and Rapp missing.

James Cook Opens Up On Losing To Chiefs - interview
jkeerie replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD in addressing the team before the game, told them don't expect any help from the refs in KC. The team needs to play well enough to negate the refs. He added they didn't do that. -
I agree. Plays and players. McD said you need 2 or 3 difference makers on each side of the ball to win a championship. He didn't talk about whether the Bills have any, but the way he raved about Allen's and Cook's seasons, you got the impression we've got a couple offensively. He did say they need to add a WR that can stretch the defense. He didn't really single out anyone defensively unless he was specifically asked about a player. Milano was mentioned and McD spoke about all the set backs he had physically this year.

Folks are also forgetting that the Chiefs had been building that team to success prior to Mahomes getting there. They had a good foundation and team and Alex Smith as QB. They concluded he wasn't what they needed, and moved on to Mahomes. Beane and McDermott started with very little foundation and a bare cupboard...and still McD got to the playoffs in his first season. They have been building and getting closer. The Chiefs have only needed to add a piece here and there. It's obvious that Beane isn't satisfied that they are still not quite there. He said the emotions are still a bit raw to be talking about any specific changes at this point, but they will evaluate things and go from there.
-
I highly suggest folks listen to the presser for themselves rather than go by what posters in this thread are concluding. For example...Beane said he doesn't think things need to be blown up. (Like many on this board...fire everyone.) He did say they will look at individual players etc so he did not say they will stand pat.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
jkeerie replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was the passing game coordinator and WR coach, and even though Ensminger was the OC, Brady was the one credited for developing LSU's high powered offense. He even won the award for the best college assistant coach. -

jkeerie replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady had JaMar Chase and Justin Jefferson at LSU, so I'm certain he is capable of producing more in the passing game with the right players. I think between the newness and the injuries, the Bills really didn't know what they had this year and were discovering things as the season played on. Fortunately, the offense is set at every position except WR...so that's where they should focus attention offensively in the draft. Defensively they need to focus on D line and secondary. -
At least someone sees the humor in all this

She is sooooo good! -
A lot of those who tuned in were angered that the Chiefs win was Ref assisted. They are posting such on social media. Perhaps the NFL will realize the Bills and Josh Allen are a humble, likeable team that fans can get behind and root for. The NFL would be wise to take notice.

Thank you, Micah! I wanted you on the Bills when I saw you play in a GB playoff game! So glad you were signed. I wish you well in your next career!
