  1. Exactly. Didn't McD say this week in evaluating wide receivers, he wanted to see who blocks?
  2. I Googled on my Samsung android and a link to Zedge.com came up. They have a nice selection of portrait fit wallpapers.
  3. A friend of mine who is an avid Cleveland fan, told me that the Browns were more sold on Ward, than they were on Mayfield. They knew they'd take Ward with the 4th pick early on. The Mayfield pick wasn't certain until right before the draft.
  4. Think about it though. Outside of the Superbowl team, when have the Bill's ever had a solid GM and coaching staff? This team is different. When I think about some of the others, in their initial press conferences they talked about Superbowls. These guys (Beane and McD) talked about building a team. If you build it right...the wins will follow.
  5. Good point. Hope it carries through to the regular season.
  6. Maybe you should write them down.
  7. Thank you for that link. It explains the rule clearly. "If a loose ball touches anything out of bounds, it is considered out of bounds." I'll have to commit that to memory.
  8. I suppose that if you're thinking about breaking...or at least bending the rules you should know what they are.
  9. If he was standing out of bounds, I would think not. I just rewound and watched it. The receiver had one toe on the white when he engaged the defender. Since they reviewed it, and the expert didn't comment on that aspect, it must be okay. BTW He thought he was short as well.
  10. Flacco got kicked to the curb in Baltimore. He likes being wanted. Good question. Did he reestablish himself in bounds? Lock got a lucky spot. I thought he was 6 inches short.
  11. Never make a decision out of desperation unless it's literally life and death.
  12. Lock is handing off the ball and I'm thinking "toast."
  13. Chubb is looking like a monster. Elway can't pick a QB, but he knows his pass rushers.
  14. Love to see Sanders back to form. Always liked him as a WR. Bummer about the penalty. That was a nice catch.
  15. They just showed Fangio. He resembles the head coach at Wisconsin.
  16. I'd like to see him succeed as well...since he's no longer on NE.
  17. You're right. I recall that. Cassel looked good one season in KC as I recall. Then he fizzled. In the pregame, Hasselbeck talked about Stitham and how NE develops QBs, citing Garapolo and Jacoby Brissett. I think the jury is still out elsewhere and I'm wondering about the effectiveness of NE's offensive system.
  18. Garapolo and Flacco both starting. Garapolo already threw a pick. Wondering if these New England QBs thrive in New England only.
  19. Crappy call on Lawson.
  20. It seems like he's nonchalanting it...not driving the ball, so it's drifting.
  21. You forget. We don't have Peterman anymore.
  22. Maybe they were all distracted because of the national focus. More thinking about their interviews versus focusing on practice.
  23. Aren't these voted on by the players themselves? They obviously see his fire and competitive spirit, and how he's turning the team around.
  24. Baker Mayfield was placed at number 50. It's on the NFL.com website. I seriously doubt Allen or Darnold are on the list.
  25. I recall when Charlie Steiner started laughing uncontrollably during one of the broadcasts. I think it was when Carl Lewis, the track star, was singing the national anthem at a ball game. It was horrid. Steiner was in tears laughing so hard...and of course, it made you laugh just as hard watching him.
