  1. Stlll lots of cuts to be made. The timing of these is interesting...perhaps hoping to "bury" some releases among the noise to sneak guys on the practice squad?
  2. 4 pm I believe.
  3. They'll want a 3rd.
  4. Since they would be team 32 out of 32 that's a pretty good bet. Teams need olinemen and Beane said they had been fielding calls from teams since they have so much depth.
  5. Sorry. The way folks over react on this board, it's not hard to do.
  6. Peters wasn't a bubble player. They traded him because he was rightly disgruntled when they signed scrubs for more money than they were willing to pay him. That sickened me the way the Bill's with Marv Levy as GM handled that. I liked Teller, but he wasn't a stand out player.
  7. No Viking was in the same zip code on that return.
  8. He should be. He's earned it.
  9. Definitely cannot cover a tight end.
  10. Haha! I just said that two posts earlier. Great minds!
  11. He looks like Jack Nicholson.
  12. Didn't their backup kicker look really good?
  13. McLaughlin should make the practice squad.
  14. Duke has to make the team. Anyone who can look good with Tyree at QB should be automatic.
  15. Tyree always looks like he's limping. He walks like an old man.
  16. Absolutely! But it still ticked me off. Watched him over the weekend. Looked good.
  17. I'm a UB alum and fan. Their team last year was good, but you could see Tyree was not pro ready. He listened to the wrong people. When I saw Osborne transfer to Miami, it really ticked me off.
  18. I'd keep Pitts over Munnerlyn if that's a decision that needs to be made.
  19. Perry might still be injured.
  20. Snip. Snip. Bojo.
  21. You may be right about the Special Teams. I found it interesting this preseason that the Bills have been experimenting with players on STs more than usual. I really think they are realizing they have players that they'd like to keep, but who haven't played STs in the past. Of course, that may be why we stunk on STs in Detroit.
  22. I stand corrected on the accuracy issue, but he was inconsistent in his decision making and lack of discipline was evident. As to your second point...the jury is still out.
  23. I see it similarly with Yeldon over Murphy and Jaquan Joseph over Marlowe. (I don't think they want to expose Joseph to waivers. It may be the same with Vosean Joseph as well since he was a 5th round pick.)
  24. I didn't follow Mahomes that much, but really liked Watson. Watching him this preseason has been brutal though. He really hangs onto the ball much too long. With the Texans Oline, he's going to get himself injured again. I also agree with the takes regarding the Bills...particularly McD...not being in a position to draft a QB in 2017. He was just learning about the team they had...and was in no position to decide on a future QB. Whaley was on his way out and Beane on his way in. So...I cannot classify not drafting Mahomes or Watson for that matter as a blunder, but rather lousy timing.
