  1. Probably not. (I think you made an excellent point here.)
  2. I thought so, too.
  3. You're right. I just posed the question because it appears that both KC and the Bill's made successful choices. (At least it appears so at the moment. )
  4. Okay. I get where you're coming from. We can only hope.
  5. Fair point. Tre was a big piece...a start if you will. This also presumes Ramsey's truly on the trading block.
  6. Okay. No argument.
  7. Not sure what your point is. That was part of the premise of the question, because the Bills didn't choose Mahomes.
  8. Fair point and question. Whose to say Allen won't develop into an elite QB?
  9. Okay. I get where your coming from.
  10. Okay. That's a fair point. Remember, though, you don't have Tre.
  11. So this raises the question, as good as Mahomes is, and presuming Allen develops into a solid QB, would you rather have Tre and the defense he's a huge part of and Allen, or Mahomes? (You can't choose Mahomes, plus the Bill's D, because that didn't happen.)
  12. Not taking anything away from Mahomes, but it seems three defenders just stood there and watched the only receiver who could possibly catch the ball, do just that.
  13. Chiefs still don't have a defense.
  14. Both McD and Allen commented in their pressers that Duke earned the spot on the roster by making plays in practice.
  15. Bye week is coming at a good time with all the injuries.
  16. Did anybody by any chance catch the UCF at Cincinnati game the other night? Cincinnati DBs had excellent coverage and hand skills with respect to making plays on the ball.
  17. No. But thank you for asking.
  18. Operative phrase: "At the very least" Meaning that would have been the worst case decision if Josh was cleared late. Best case...He starts! I'm happy with McD's decision.
  19. And yet no word of a fine for the hit. Methinks the NFL is a bit inconsistent. "If you get hit in the head, we're going to make you sit so we make sure you're ok. But we're still going to allow players to hit you in the head."
  20. That was awesome! It's like a duel. They pace off...then they have at it.
  21. I think they had high hopes for Duke, but other players exceeded him in practice and the NFL game didn't come as quickly to Duke as they would have liked. Still...they kept him around, giving him more time. WRs for the Bills are expected to do more than just catch the ball. It's perhaps these other skill sets they needed to see further development.
  22. Good point. I forgot that he played tackle at Iowa.
  23. Probably Foster. He was still limited in practice.
