  1. No contact, but after a throw he grabbed his elbow.
  2. That's why Gore's in!
  3. Oh, please. I assume you're being amusing.
  4. OMG! What kind of spot was that?? And the official looks away nonchalantly.
  5. I didn't have issues with the cable box guide until they plastered banners for their Spectrum shows. They are distracting and screw up my scrolling.
  6. I've been watching on the TV via the box all evening with no issues. Must be the App which is garbage most of the time anyway. Too many issues, from pixelation to not wanting to open.
  7. I don't think these are excuses as much as they are criticisms.
  8. Hmm. I'm in WNY and haven't experienced any glitches.
  9. I have Spectrum and getting the game. Where do you live?
  10. Newton looks like he took a Sominex before the game. He looks like he can't be bothered.
  11. Don't we all! Your remarks were eloquent and very well written.
  12. Olsen still has those cat-like moves.
  13. They only compare them because of size and running ability. Allen is smarter and more coachable. There's also a difference in the size of their egos.
  14. Arians face reminds me of that picture of the grumpy cat.
  15. Arians looked like the old geezer yelling at you to get off his lawn.
  16. Meanwhile, I'm watching the high school game on ESPN 2.
  17. He's looking at past performance. The Pats are 8 and 11 at Miami. (Saw that on the NFL network crawler.) I'd be shocked if they went 8 and 12.
  18. I know you were referring to the TYPE of team, notwithstanding market size. I just don't think the powers that be at the NFL cares about that. You'd like to think they did, but watching how the league has played out, particularly over the past 20 years, I don't see it. I don't think they see things from the fan perspective.
  19. Excellent article. Very well written.
  20. I like your post, but I disagree with the final statement. The NFL is a business. The commissioner's job is at the pleasure of the owners. Larger markets are favored over small for revenue's sake. The most influential owners are in the larger markets (e.g. Kraft, Jones) I think the fans and many of the coaches and players would like to see a team that does things the right way, the way you describe, but not the powers that be in the NFL. If the NFL were smart, they would want to encourage and reward what you describe. Could you imagine, on the 100th anniversary a Green Bay v KC Super Bowl? That would have the fans watching and enjoying, no matter what market you were in...with the exception of New England.
